If you are a professional or just a DIY mechanic, this is the scanner that does it all. I work as a Mercedes-Benz dealer mechanic and this scanner has more features than our factory scanner we are provided at work. Ability to run actuations, reset learned values, teach in new parts and even change variant coding to enable or disable features! The actual value lists and graphing is excellent. Works great with diesel sprinter vans and domestic diesels as well it's got full support for Domestic, Euro or Asian cars including Chinese brands. Like I said if you're in the market for a scan tool this is an absolute weapon of a scanner so look no further.

As an amateur mechanic with a reasonable knowledge, working on these late-model vehicles is very difficult as there is so much special electronics that need access to work on and reset. This tool takes care of most everything in MY garage and comes with so many adapters, I can't think of nearly anything this tool can hook up to! At least more that we have here. It's reasonably easy to navigate to each vehicle's systems and allows users to check, test, actuate and access almost all of the electronics in the vehicles. Thanks to Dan @ NGSC for the tip!

Connector Was broken when it arrived. Trying to find a connector in the USA Launch This one came from Overseas. Even Though it says made in America. Is it the Same connector size and pin we can buy here? Please verify if you can relate to this. I have tried the American Launch Store. They could not verify this for me. Not very much help at this point. Expensive to buy and then you are stuck with a broken connector that doesnt work with your scanner. We just want the part that was sold as I was told from overseas.. The Launch Company in America said it was another platform selling?? We bought this from the Launch store here on Amazon. Be careful buying online as it is not easily found..

Out of the box setup was easy. I downloaded every uldate just because but you dont have to. Updates took less than an hour if not sooner. you can download individual updates for the vehicle(s) you are working on. Only downside to this product is if you are trying to access hidden features in the Ford F150 or Taurus this product will not do thay fyi. Another downside is that when you purchase this product with the battery tester they dont tell you that it ships separately that is if you contact them. Personally I would buy this device by itself and the battery tester separately so that you get them at the same time rather than 2 weeks apart. All in all a great product the seller should not bundle equipment if they cant ship them together.

This scan too is worth every single penny! I had previously owned the Lunch X431 V Pro 4.0 and used it for 2 years and was 95% satisfied with the bidirectional ability of the device. With my new purchase of the latest Launch x431 Pro3S + V5.0, I am optimistic I will be 100% satisfied with the bidirectional ability of this product. So far, my latest Launch has more features than the previous version, which will take time to get used to. As a DYI and car enthusiast the Launch product has saved me lots of money on diagnostic fees and special functions such as key programming, steering wheel angle sensor calibration, ADAS calibration, AFS reset, SRS rest/calibration, etc. I highly recommend this product to other car enthusiasts, because it will save you lots of $$$ and broaden your knowledge and understanding of the latest car technology.

Wish it was a type C charging port the usb usually have issues but battery seems to last long. Standard android tablet. I specialize in exotic European cars ferarri Lamborghini Porsche ect. Software seems to have no issues yet can do quite a bit and has no trouble with service resets on Audi/Volkswagen/lambo. I’m happy with the device overall. Expect a long update out of the box basically comes with no software and it all downloads first power up.

Well let’s begin here on this review. This scan tool deserves every star for a good reason. I must note this is top shelf and high quality, not only in its construction but the capabilities it has to offer to serve almost if not all makes and model old to brand new with the many adaptors it comes in the case with to actually connect hardware wise to the vehicles. Next, the interface and software allows for servicing and repairing simple resets to complex dianogostics. This being said there isn’t a fault or issue that can’t be solved at ease of the fingertips . This will save you hundred if not thousands of dollars down the road for any issue that may arise with just wear and tear and can easily be maintained with this tool. Lastly what I like most is the assessories that can be attached and used making this tool a literal car shop brought straight to you handling all aspects of vehicle diaognostic’s and repairs right there at home. Real investment for the novice to the skilled !!!!

Thus far the scanner is great and does what is expected.. After some time I may update as any deficiencies may not show up right away..update...I acquired a micsig vato2004 scope is it works great with the onboard software. The only thing is the micsig scope channels are reversed meaning chanel 4 renders as channel 1 on the scope. Not a huge deal.
