surprisingly awesome
3 year review!!!!Does exactly what its supposed to after several lightning strikes too. Only writing this review because im buying another for next project.

Very susceptible to ripple in power supply...
In a pure battery-only application this MIGHT be just 'okay', but I'm disappointed. My testing with an unregulated power supply revealed that the relay buzzes due to power source ripple before changing modes - both the red and green in the dual-color LED were ON AT THE SAME TIME. This is a way over-simplistic design - it should have switched ON at the first HINT of having reached the engage voltage and stayed that way until the first HINT of the disengage voltage. There needs to be a better bi-stable circuit that the relay doesn't see until AFTER the decision to change modes. Relay buzzing due to power supply ripple is amateurish and I expected better.

It works, but it's a power hungry little demon. Removing the LED from the board reduces power consumption a surprising amount. One thing everyone should be aware of with these things... they draw quiescent current, even when cut out (output shut off due to low battery voltage). In other words, if the battery voltage drops and the device cuts off the load, the device itself still draws a small amount of current to power itself while it watches for battery voltage to rise again. So if you are planning to use this for protecting a battery that is unattended long term (like an RV in storage) then I'd stay away, because once this unit works and shuts off the output, it's own current draw will finish off the battery, albeit slowly.

Horrible.
Poor design causes buzzing at voltage setpoints. Highly unreliable.

Easiest and Best!
I have used several different types. These are my preferred by a wide margin! Simple to set up and have never failed me. I use them on my remote power systems to both protect batteries and auto-start a generator so the entire system runs like a mini power company, keeping everything up to charge when I am not around!

Works for Lithium (LiFePO4) battery packs
Good module for economy BMS for Lithium (LiFePO4) 24 volt battery pack from going undervoltage when using "bottom balancing" method. Can be set 2.5 VPC (or higher if desired disconnect). Can set the reconnect at 3.2 VPC where charger has to be connected before it resets.

Works ok
Functional but bounces off low side with my application. Solar water heater relay 100A, makes rattle sound at low V, needs to shut off and stay off but its because the voltage recovery it too fast i think. (No this wont handle 100A of course, it toggles a big relay.)
