Great toothbrush
Fantastic toothbrush, teeth feel really clean after using it. I had an oral b one before and this is much better and less noisy. It has a timer which tells you when to switch areas of your mouth and stops after 2 minutes. The brush is oval shaped not round which I find easier. The only downside is the cost of replacement brush heads, quite expensive but there are alternatives available and will look into those. Would recommend this toothbrush.

Cleans Teeth Well
This was bought as a replacement for a previous similar model Philips Sonic Care tooth brush which we literally wore out the switches etc. Very please with this replacement - battery lasts 2 weeks with 2 adults using it at full power twice a day for the recommended 2 minutes (lasts longer if on gentle setting). Cleans teeth well and there are several different types of brush heads depending on what you expect the brush to do ( anti plaque, whitening etc.). When the yellow light flashes and it buzzes when it switches itself off, it needs charging and takes overnight to fully recharge (about 10 hours). Charger requires a standard 2 pin shaver socket not USB as some require. There is a handy case which takes a body and 2 brush heads, but not toothpaste or charger, when travelling.NB. There is only1 brush head included in the box so you need to purchase the brushes heads if more than one person using the body.

Dect toothbrush
Likes:- battery life. First full charge lasted just over 3 weeks, much better than the 2 weeks advertised (used twice a day on max vibrate). This and price are probably the most important factor in buying for me- dual speed vibration option- price (much more keenly priced than all the unnecessary Bluetooth enabled and app-connected brushes)Dislikes:- colour. I went for the black one as it was approx £30 cheaper than white at the time. Of course I could have paid more if I was desperate- travel case. Looks, feels and is cheap/poor quality. Like others have said, it doesn't really hold anything firmly in place. Having said that I generally take a good old fashioned manual toothbrush when travelling- no usb charging capability. It needs the philips charger with the two pin plug.Overall, despite my minor dislikes, it is a good brush at a good price and I am happy

Long-term Review : Better than Oral-B
Pros:+ I had relied on a top of the range Oral B for some years. My teeth felt instantly cleaner after using this+ I suffer from gum disease and so have to have a 3 month check-up. My dentist commented on how improved my teeth were after using this for first 3 months.+ Battery life is great+ Functionality is simple. I just need a timer (which works fine) so chose this over the more expensive Sonicare range options as they seemed to be the same power but just with more gimmicks. Thanks, but what sort of person needs an app to clean their teeth?!Cons:- The replacement heads are a bit pricey (although seem to last better than the Oral B ones did)

Won't last
Purchased Nov 2022, the shaft seal would often get gunked up and occasionally look mouldy. Whilst cleaning it the other day (April 2025), the seal deteriorated. This has allowed water to enter and now it won't charge anymore. The seal is not easily replaceable - planned obsolescence. This is especially galling after having just bought a set of A3 heads for it! The lack of a proper battery indicator was also a constant annoyance - the amount of times I hadn't noticed the tiny LED warning it was low and then suddenly not being able to do my teeth properly... The only positive is it did actually clean my teeth much better than a manual brush.

Excellent quality
This has two speeds, one of which gives a deep cleanse. It came with a European plug. I rang Philips customer care and they sent a charger to my home via recorded delivery free of charge. Excellent customer service. It keeps charge for around two weeks. It came with a case which is handy for travel. This toothbrush keeps my teeth free from plaque, and tartar. My teeth are whiter since using this toothbrush twice a day. It has a timer which is really useful. Feels sturdy. I dropped it on a hard floor from head height, and no damage at all. Good value for money.
