These scanners work really well. They come with their own USB dongles which just plug into a spare USB port on a computer and connect seamlessly with the scanner which allows much more flexible use without being tied to a cable. Good solid hand held scanner and works perfectly for small business needs, after creating a spread sheet for system to work with, this has definitely made stock control simple. Distance is fine for connection to receiver within the computer and the distance transmitted was approx 30 to 40 m going through various stud walls and steel uprights. Overall very pleased with delivery and the product.
