This is just what I needed too protect my keyboard and keep it clean from dirt and dust. It fits a standard keyboard with number pad, just right. One side is a little sticky for holding to the keyboard. I don't type with it on. No cut out for the keys, just a smooth silicone. Simple and functional.

Keyboards with regular use get absolutely disgusting. I was tired of my spastic cat jumping up in my face and knocking my drinks over (he has feline hyperesthesia), I don't know how many times I had coffee, cocktails, sweet tea, soda, other liquids get fully dumped into the keyboard either because of the cat or because I myself am a klutz and spill regularly. I'd have to undo all the screws, take the keyboard apart and clean it and reassemble it. It's always full of everything - from pizza crumbs to tiny bits of weed that fell out of my pipe as I was packing it. No bueno. I bought this cover and as of right now it is absolutely filthy. I can totally see through it but it is covered in cat hair, dust, crumbs, dried coffee, dander, and who knows what else. It just sits right on top of the keys and is super flexible and soft. It does not hinder use of the keyboard in any way. I could not love this sheet of usefulness more. It is frigging awesome!! I lift it up and my keyboard is clean and perfect underneath it all. Hot diggity! What an item!! I am so impressed. I will never have a keyboard without one again.

I killed 3 keyboards from small amts of water spilling into the keys. I first tried the keyboard cover (yes, the thing like a saranwrap with elastic that goes over the keyboard). If you pull it "taut", the covers work well. However, my short nails kept tearing a hole near the "s" key, allowing moisture to get in again. So I then tried to use thick saran wrap. Same issue...the tears occurred near the "s". Ok....so I then tried to protect the purchased plastic "bonnet" with saran wrap and the saran wrap tore in 2 days. The issue and reason that I reduced this to 4 stars is because this silicone layer doesn't protect adequately against water! But it does protect against damage to the plastic bonnet. So I am using the plastic protector under the silicone cover and the silicone protects against damage to the plastic. I probably could do the same with saran wrap. This silicone protector is starting to stretch on the left hand side, but not so much that it's causing issues. In retrospect, now that I see how this silicone cover works, I might have been able to take a 4mil plastic bag and tape it around the keyboard and it wouldn't have torn. However, I must say that I like the feel of this silicone layer. No regrets - I was aware of the fact that this product doesn't address the water issue. But if the manufacturer wanted to make a better product, they might have a way to be longer or more "envelope like" so that it could seal the keyboard from water.

Protects my keyboard and makes it even quieter to type on and I already have a quiet keyboard. I have a full size keyboard (with 9 key) and it fits it well with a little overhang. It took a little getting used to at first because it's a bit thicker than the other one I had but I like this one so much more.

It is not as snug and fitting as I desired or thought it would be.

So this is not fitted at all. It is literally just a flat piece of silicone. But it works, it keeps the cat hair off my keeboard. You can take it and rinse it off as well.

Edit: I raised my review from 4 to 5 stars. I've over time decided just to leave it on all the time because I got used to it. I just dumped an entire glass of water directly on my keyboard for the first time in my life, and the keyboard came out bone dry except a couple drops on the back plastic side that I was able to just wipe off with a towel. The Protector did its job well. I bought this cover because I can't replace the now-shredded cover that came with my keyboard since the keyboard doesn't appear to be sold anymore. I was unable to find one with fitted keys that worked with this keyboard, which still works perfectly well, so I needed something that would still work with it. I work from home and eat lunch at my desk often, so I keep it mostly covered when typing to prevent snack crumbs or spilled drinks from damaging my keyboard. This cover still allows me to type fine while it's on, but if I'm not eating/drinking, and I'm typing quite a lot, I'll be removing it, unlike my previous cover, because it's a little thicker, and my fingers fatigue faster with it on. I can still see the keys decently well through it when it's on, although it's definitely not clear, and better when I turn on the backlit keys. It's a good size and seems sturdy. It's a decent replacement that will keep the dust off when the keyboard is not in use and will give a good amount of protection if I'm working through lunches.

Just a flat piece of plastic. Not formed to the keyboard at all. "Cover skin" it is not.

Adorei essa placa porque é finíssima, pode-se digitar por cima dela. Mas comprei para não sujar o teclado, quando faço minhas pinturas na mesma bancada.

It is good for the old key boards but not the latest ones.

Perfect fit and easy to use on the fingers. keeps yor keyboard in good working order and no dust settles in the keyboard

I have been using it since 2021 so more than 3 years and still working just fine. Although the see through visibility is less and requires frequent cleaning/washing, but its decent enough to protect the keyboard. One less star for less visibility.
