Excellent fin for the $
This is a good fin when compared to sets costing $100 more, and is probably the best fin you can buy anywhere near the price it sells for. Size-wise it is between the FCS g3000 and the g5. I bought this to use on a 5'8" Tomo Vader which I snapped and repaired (but lost the futures Stamps front fins in the chaos). I also tested it on a 6'1"x19"x2 3/8" Proctor G4 (hpsb) in chest to head high surf in north San Diego. I'm 35, I've been surfing for 20 yrs, and I weigh 185lbs. I found the Ho Stevie fin to be flexible and responsive. It is thin compared to the other fins in my quiver (Stamps, True Ames Lost, AM1), which reduces drag. Because it is thin and small yet snappy I think it would be an excellent summer fin. It does not generate the same explosive speed when pumping that honeycombed foil fins can, but it is more than adequate for average to good surfers. I'd recommend it for waves in the knee to head high range; in surf larger than that you would want a bigger fin. At $25 per set it is an absolute steal of a deal. Thank you Stevie for providing a great product at a smoking price!

Solid fin option
I grew up riding just your typical nylon fins you'd get from the shop without knowing that was the kind of material used. Well, the Polymer is definitely a material that feels different in hand (which these fins have instead). More solid and after one surf with these fins they really do seem nice and rigid and like they will hold up. As someone that doesn't like to fork over a ton of money on fins and just wants to surf with what he's got- if you're a good surfer, you're a good surfer regardless, I will definitely purchase more of these to pair with my future boards. Thanks, HS !

Great Fins, Great Surfing, Great Guy
I was in San Diego for vacation during Thanksgiving break when I lost one of my thruster fins. I was pretty mad because it cut my session short by about hour and a half, but I wasn't too mad because it was just a cheap Shapers fin that was too small. Anyways, I came home from the trip and was going to be surfing Bolsa Chica that Friday and needed some fins. I stumbled across these and bought them. The fins came in the next day (I selected same day shipping) and I was stoked. I got them out of the bag (which came with a surf key that was too great) and put them right in my board. They fit perfectly. No sanding needed. They've got a decent amount of flex to them which I liked. They surfed great that session. Steve (owner of Ho Stevie) is an awesome guy. He responds to questions on instagram, he's got a wicked youtube channel, and he sent me a bar of eggnog smelling wax :D Only things that could be improved: Have different sizes of fins. (I'm 5'11 200lbs so these fins are a little small for me) Have more color selection. And honestly the fin key was a nice gesture, but it kinda sucked.

Couldn't be happier!
I recently purchased these fins for an old board a friend is lending me. Now, I don't claim to know a lot about boards or fins (I'm just starting to surf), but as soon as I opened the package containing these I was pleasantly surprised! The build quality is EXCELLENT for the price, and they look amazing on my board! The same day I changed them, I was also able to catch my first two waves! Not sure if coincidence or not but to me it means something! The kit included a key for changing fins and a nice Ho Stevie! sticker which I plan on putting on my computer! All-in-all, a great purchase. Oh and on a side-note, I noticed that Ho Stevie! will replace the fins if any of them break within a year of purchase! How could you go wring with these?!

Great fins for the $$$
These fins are well made and fit my board with no problems at all. They have a moderate amount of flex which is to be expected from a polymer fin. I was looking for a smaller set of fins with some flex to try out in one my of boards. These work well and for the price, the purchase was a no brainer. Shipping was fast too through prime. Very pleased.

Definitely durable!
I surfed for the first time today with these as side-bites on my 2:1 fin setup on my 10’ longboard. Made my board more maneuverable & stable. I was at one of my favorite points in the Malibu area, and had a blast. Also, one fin went over some rocks and only got a bit scuffed up, but didn’t break off. They definitely have some strength & durability to them. Definitely recommend!

These fins are very flexible like the kind of fins you would find on a soft top .
More flex than I thought
