This meter worked right out of the box. The controls are intuitive and the screen is large and bright. It is reasonably precise, and it allows mapping of a wet wall.

I use it in my RV and it detects spots where there is extra moisture.

Works good & simple to use, 4 stars because I had to replace battery after a couple weeks. Probably due to an off brand.

I bought this product specifically after a concern of a water leak I had last year, upstairs in my home. The leak was fixed and has been dry, but wanted to make sure the small amount of green mold was not a concern (not growing anymore). Everyone said as long as the water issue was resolved, there was no reason to be concerned. But, I wanted to be sure so I got this product. It was so easy to use, and gave me such peace of mind. It read as dry as a wall could be. With that said, I took it the basement. And checked an area of the concrete on a side of the house I do worry about as the water outside goes in that direction and it showed that is was in the middle, so some wet value. I will get another dehumidifier for that area now. Thank you for this easy to use product.

When living in a humid area, it is valuable to detect dampness before causing serious damage. This product is so easy to use. It fits nicely in one's hand, is light-weight and comes with a secure cover.

Needed this to read moisture content in concrete floor that had recently been exposed to excessive rain. Had to bring moisture level down before installing vinyl plank flooring. Did the job for me by giving percentage of moister content. Great item at reasonable price.

meter looks decent but, perhaps we got a dud for it won’t read anything the majority of the time and when it did on one area that was wet, it read differently each time! i got this to prove to hub that ceiling in bathroom was simply patched up and hot water pipe leak was not taking care of for i can hear it dripping every time i turn the hot water on in sink or he is in the shower.. this registered nothing on ceiling, worse it registered nothing after moisture was clearly on wall after a shower…so dud perhaps??

So far, so good. Even a leak detector person said it was a nice unit.
