Pans are extremely well made and sturdy as I would expect from Circulon. I have reservations about the ridged bottom on the frying pans. I seasoned all the pots as instructed but trying to fry an egg in one of the frying pans was a disaster. White dropped through the ridges and was extremely difficult to remove from the pan. Ended up a real mess with egg white left behind. It may be because I’m not used to cooking with them yet. I’m keeping my old frying pans! Pots are not unreasonably heavy but the lids are very sturdy. The fancy handles on the lids certainly don’t get hot but it makes lids difficult to store. I like the fact that the large frying pan has a lid. Mine are hanging on a rack. Given the cost involved I’m hoping I get used to them soon. I will update this review after I have had more time to get used to cooking with the pots and pans. UPDATE: One of the reasons for using non stick is being able to reduce the amount of oil or fat used. That isn’t possible with the frying pans. Need a fair amount of oil to form a layer between food and stainless steel rings on the bottom of the pan otherwise everything sticks like blazes. I re-seasoned them. First time I used mild and light olive oil, the second time I used cold pressed rapeseed oil which is not only more viscous but has a higher smoke point. Made a big difference. Browning meat in the pots was much improved and cleanup was easy. Still haven’t managed to successfully fry an egg!!
