Buy this. Just buy it. For less than $30, this is one of the best-smoking pipes I own. It looks like something Gandalf might smoke, but not to the point of being out of place in an everyday setting. I believe in posting accurate reviews: The bowl is actual cob that seems to be impregnated with some kind of an epoxy resin. This makes it very durable, but a bit on the heavy side. Because of this, it will also eventually get hotter than my other cob pipes. The fit and finish are a little rough, (but congruent with a pipe in this price category). In spite of this, I had to give it full marks for providing a long-burning, cool smoke with minimal bite. It makes for a great conversation piece (I've recieved many compliments on it), and it makes for a great travel pipe (if it breaks or is lost/stolen you're not missing a $200 meerschaum)... Overall, it's an interesting and uniquely beautiful pipe for an outstanding price.

Pipe is completely different from the picture, not bent stem nor rounded bowl.

Nice size, very solid bit (I chew through cheap acrylic corn cob stems way too fast) and the extra length makes for a nice comfy smoke. Corn cob pipes were always my go to for work/travel, I hate the look of them, but they are good cheap smokers and if they got lost or damaged it wouldn't scar my soul like the time I dropped a Peterson military pipe out of my truck without knowing it and ran it over. Apologies for the pun but this pipe is a lot less corny looking than most cheap corn cobs, and smokes like much more expensive briar pipe. All the comfort of a churchwarden without going full Gandalf.
