After looking up an online set of directions, I completed the replacement myself. The quality seems just as good as the original. The fit is perfect. The color didn't come in a matching shade, but that's because I have special edition headphones (camo). Fairly easy installation - I suggest keeping track of your teeny tiny screws. I had a fabric surface under my work area so if I dropped them they'd land and not roll too far. They work now, as good as new!

I recently broke my studio 3 beats and I thought I had to buy another pair, which is very expensive. I found this repair kit and it's affordable and easy to use. You just have to look up a YouTube tutorial and follow the steps and it's good as new! You have to trust the process! It might seem like the headband won't fit on the headphones but trust me some way or another it will come together.

This part is very easy to replace with the screw driver that comes with. And it would look perfect at the beginning. But the hinge part where you run the screws in is fragile at least on my part. It broke on me after 2 months of using. I have to record again and see how it goes.
