Well made and don't stick far out from wall. Worked very well to hold a chain link custom gate close to wall.

I bought these hinges to hang a farm gate on a concrete post. The pin broke away from the hinge frame after limited use due to a cheap weld seam. The hinge frame was already mounted in the masonry so I had to get a welder to come out and re-weld the steel pin to the hinge frame. Several $100.00 additional unwelcome expense. This hinge would probably work ok in light use but I would look elsewhere if you want to use it for anything heavy. Or buy it and take it to a welder and get them to reinforce the weld before you mount it. Had I done that I would have saved myself some money. It's working well now that the welding has been strengthened.
