I was hesitant about the coupler being plastic, but it's actually very strong and also light weight. I'm not fighting fires with this nor performing emergency rescues, but in a pinch, yeah, I'm sure this would do the job.I'm using this primarily to drain our hot tub and also fountain and it's absolutely worth purchasing, especially at this incredibly low price.It fit perfectly on our 1 1/2 submersible pump and sure makes attaching and removing an absolute breeze.

I can’t tell if this is under sized or the hose I’m using is oversized, but it leaks at the barbed end on the two of these I have. I’ve put two hose clamps on and it still leaks. Very embarrassing if you’re using these to dump RV tanks into a macerator…

Great product and very durable

This connector works really well and is solid abs. Connected to another camlock with a tight seal. Used it for a pool/spa connection with high pressure and no leaks.
