Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda

Birthday gift for my grandson and he is sold on Zelda. Amazing battery life, great graphics 8bit

I love this! The only 2 things I would improve would be thr size of the screen and I would have an option for headphones to not disturb others in the room. It does have Great sound. You can adjust the volume and brightness. Plays like the original nes. A and B buttons or soft. The Dpad is a bit hard. 4 games on this amazing find. It charges fast and the battery lasts longer than I have expected. I have approx 3.5 hours of play time and still don’t need to charge it. I love this find!

This is great! I had no idea Nintendo made these until I started looking up the originals. Not only do you get the original Legend of Zelda, Adventure of Link, and Link's Awakening, but you also get a Game & Watch classic, Vermin! Though this does make me biased, Vermin has always been my favorite from the G&W series--I played it religiously in Game & Watch Gallery 2 for the Game Boy. I also love the clock and timer features which are stylistically displayed as the LoZ and AoL games respectively (you can even play on them!). Quality is great. The device is very lightweight, but doesn't feel like a cheap piece of plastic. The golden front is made of metal. It's very small, but even with my long fingers it's still comfortable. I will note, however, that if you have particularly *thick* fingers, the buttons (d-pad especially) will like be difficult to control. My only cons are that the display case is really just the black cardboard packaging material (see photo) and that the included USB-C cable is very short. Overall though, still a 10/10. Others say it's too expensive, but as my review title says, I think it's completely worth it. I really hope they make more of these; a Donkey Kong version with the clam-shell dual screens (like the original) would be totally awesome, or perhaps a Pokemon or Metroid edition.

Amazing pocket gaming system. Takes me back to the late 80's as a kid when I have some down time in the evenings. I also love the fact that you can power it down without saving and when you start it back up you are last spot that you were in the game. Rechargeable internal battery with a USB C for charging is also nice.

I'm not an avid Zelda game lover, having played only one or two, but I loved how cute and portable this looked. The games that come with it are real classics, and super fun to play. Price wise it's quite expensive for what it is.

This game was a lifesaver on our long car trip. For the hours out of network this game kept the kids busy. Even parents might want to give it a try remembering their Zelda days as kids.

My kids and all their friends love this little game! It fits nicely in their hands and even the grown ups can play. It’s the traditional game which parents can remember. My son has the Mario one and this and loves them both.

I gave it to my son for his birthday and both him and his dad enjoy playing with it. It is a good value for the price as they can be entertained for quite a while. I am planning on buying another one for my brother as he is also a gamer. It can be a great gift for those gamers in your life.

Amazing little console for any Legend of Zelda fans. The color screen is great and it comes with 3 different Zelda games. Got it in a brand new unopened box. Model is European version.

This thing is fantastic, and a must have for any fans of classic Zelda. Not going to spoil all the neat details about it, but it is an upgrade from the already great Super Mario Bros Game and Watch. Has tons of neat details and is generally just a very nice collectors item.

Als diese Version des Game & Watch bereits vorgestellt wurde war mir eines klar "Ich muss es haben!" und ich war echt beeindruckt. Der kleine Handheld im Stile des klassischen Game & Watch (obwohl es sich hierbei auch um die gleiche Variante wie bei der Super Mario Bros Edition handelt) ist nicht nur mit dem inbegriffen Halter welcher das Inlett der Verpackung ist einen Blickfang sondern auch technisch ist es ein Highlight. Insgesamt befinden sich nicht nur die 4 ikonischsten Games der Reihe auf dem für Sammler unersetzbaren Meilenstein sondern auch ein Timer, eine Uhr und sogar ein selbst erstellter Startscreen (welcher das Secret Theme in 8 Bit abspielt) ganz im passenden Flair. Nur ein kleines Manko hab ich zu vermerken. Nämlich ist das die Außenverpackung. Wer nämlich genau richtig hinschaut weiß gleich genau, dass es sich nicht um die Europäische Version sondern eine mehr oder weniger Internationalen Version, da die Beschreibung auf die Sprachen Englisch, Französisch und Russisch ausgelegt sind. Das bricht aber keinen Zacken aus der Krone und nichtsdestotrotz werde ich mir trotzdem nochmals eine holen, welche mein persönliches Sammelstück wird.
