I love the story and the illustrations are absolutely beautiful.

Mem Fox is a fabulous story teller. She creates a message for children that promotes love and kindness and caring.

This book is by an Australian author about a possum that is invisible. His grandmother remembers that there is a way to reverse this , so they travel around Australia eating different foods. Each food makes more of the possum reappear until he is finally wholly visible. Fun and educational and it has a map and explanations of the foods in the back. Beautifully illustrated!

This book was bout for me by my grandmother as a child and has always been a favorite of mine. I decided to purchase a copy for my classroom so my students could get to enjoy the adventures of Grandma Poss and Hush as well. I would suggest it for younger elementary students.

I had this book as a kid when I lived in Australia for a few years. I still have it and will bring it out when I have kids over to the house and share with them this sweet story that revolves around classic Australian foods. It never fails to please.

Cute story. Didn't overly impress my bookworm 5 year old. I was expecting something more magical after reading Mem Fox's "Reading Magic" book and learning that it was the best selling storybook in Australia of all time. I guess we aren't savvy enough on Australian animals to fully enjoy it.

Well, I’ve loved this book since I was a little girl. I bought this for my son, who is now 2 months old. I’ve read it to him and so far it’s obvious he has no idea what is going on but he likes when I do funny voices and I think the pictures appeal to him. What will be interesting is that because he’s being raised in America, he won’t grow up with these animals or Vegemite (with out being judged by the other kids haha). I look forward to sharing my childhood with him through a bit of possum magic and hope he can find is as magical as I did as a child.

Great for reading to our school's 1st grade class. The pictures make it interesting for the kids.
