I try to avoid plastic for my little one, but I didn’t even think of avoiding plastic freezer bags for my breastmilk, until I ran across these. I love that these are silicone, my breastmilk doesn’t have to be in contact with plastic at all. They are perfect for collecting breastmilk after pumping as well as for storing in the freezer. The lids stay on very well. I push the air out before placing the lid on which creates a bit of a vacuum that keeps the lid on even better. I just wish the tags came with a tie to attach them to the bags bc I have to buy string to use the tags. But I likely will just toss them bc the tags are not the easiest thing to use routinely.

These bottles are one of the best designed items I have purchased. They are very easy to clean (dishwasher!) and leakproof. We have been using the haakaa silicone bags for a couple months and have not yet had any leaks. The lids grasp so securely to the bag that you can swing it by the loop without any leakage, yet somehow it’s also easy enough to remove the lid if you only have one hand free. They are easy to pour, throw in a bag, and they stand up without flopping. They also fit perfectly fine in our baby brezza bottle sterilizer/dryer. We put them in upside down after they’re finished in the dishwasher and run the drying function. Love the ease!

Obviously, the cost per bag is more expensive than the disposable bags, but to me so WORTH IT. First, I can't tell you how much valuable breast milk has been spilled using the disposable bags. You can't stand the disposables reliably to pour collected milk into, it requires two hands - not available with a baby. The disposable bags freeze in weird shapes, even when flattened, which are hard to fit in the warmer and are not easy to pour from without leakage of milk. The Haakaa Silicone bags have a wide mouth to pour milk into while it stands sturdily on its own. Secondly, the disposible bags often do not seal well and water can leak in while warming - a huge safety concern for the baby. The Haakaa Silcone bags seal easily with the stopper - assuring you nothing is spilling out or going in that you do not want in. Third, you don't waste bags every time they're used. Other than the obvious environmental factor, these are reusable, have a nipple conversion top when the child is six months old to drink right from the storage bag, a spoon conversion kit to introduce baby-food feeding right from the squeezable bag, and a squeeze top conversion to make these last into elementary school as fun fruit/veg squeeze bags. My only wish is that they sold the 4.4 ounce bags for a newborn sized servings. This is the only set I've seen which has them. They seem the exact same as the YUMMY bags, but those come with the squeeze tops instead of corks for breast milk like this set has.

I absolutely love these for my breastfeeding journey. The base is sturdy enough to hold itself up without spilling my liquid gold unlike other bags that i have purchased. I love that there’s at both 1oz and 0.5oz markings so you know exactly how much you’ve got in there. I’ve not had and problems with leaking but i will say that you do have to be quite careful when opening these when they are full. I found it hard in the beginning but you will get the hang of it. Just break the seal a bit and dont tug on the handle’s because you will spill everything. Overall the best storage bag i have come across

Great alternative to disposable plastic bag milk storage. They work well and fit in my kinde bottle warmer.

Makes life easy. Durable and easy to clean with brush.

Love them for the reusable part. But have had bad experience with breastmilk being frozen and thawed. My baby wouldn’t drink it, though it was funny all milk didn’t freeze right and came tasted sour. Had to toss a lot of milk, but still use for fresh.

These are easy to use, I’ve had no issues or complaints!
