Unfortunately for us - the unit didn't live up to expecations, the VPN capabilities were extremely lacking, as such we returned the unit.

Have installed two of these now, first was put into service about 8 months ago. Activation was very simple. Using AT&T on both, both in relatively weak signal areas. Connection has been consistent, fast enough for the purpose, and the devices haven't locked up or otherwise caused problems. Will almost certainly be buying a few more of these for other locations.

I purchased 2 of these; the first one had a defective SIM socket. The card would slide into the socket with almost no friction, so if the router was tilted or bumped in almost any direction the SIM card would slide out of place. Router #1 returned. The second one had a good SIM socket, however the IMEI was locked. I attempted to use AT&T, T-Mobile, and Mint SIM cards. In all cases, the correct APN settings were used, however in all cases" registration denied" is shown as the cellular status. All of these SIM cards work fine in my other devices. On further research, it appears that the IMEI associated with this router is locked. Without knowing the carrier, it is challenging to unlock. Certainly not worth my time. Router #2 returned. I sent Linovision an email and attempted a "chat" for support on their website; the chat said "sorry we missed you" and after about 6 days I have not yet received a reply to the email. So, no help from the manufacturer. Thank goodness Amazon returns are easy. After receiving 2 defective routers and no tech support, this router earns 1 star from me.

Chose these because others are moving to cloud admin only. This thing just works. Was leery at first because of the price point but it has been online since it was delivered and has not had a hiccup yet. I plan to by several more based on the performance of this initial purchase.

This is a neat little wifi router, still have not gotten it to work, but that is because of the carriers and not the router. That is something that you need to know before you buy this though. This router tells the carrier that it is a router and not a phone so many companies will cut your service of throttle you or, in my case only allow you to use their hotspot data. Quite frankly it is not the carriers business what I am using. This is not Linovisions fault, but you should be aware. They had good customer service. Update.... There are no inexpensive service providers for this router that i can find. For unlimited internet you are in the 80 to 100 dollar range per month. Better off using T mobile service with a T mobile router. Wish I had not bought this. Linovision should state this in the sales ad.
