Actually truly blocks sweat - requires multiple applications and overnight use/multiple showers.
Works. Not helps - works. Blocks sweat. Sweat does not form. I've never been sweaty, but have medication-induced sweat recently in a few localized areas. These have totally changed the game for me, and allow me to take my script while not suffering the embarrassment of sweating straight through my clothes which is an entirely new phenomenon to me at 30, but was a reliable daily reality until giving these a shot. Started with the wipes, and had to upgrade to the roller. I very highly recommend for anyone who currently sweats. What the long-term side effects of simply not sweating at all are - I cannot say. It's harsh if left on for too long, and you definitely need to follow instructions - washing the application area and leaving on overnight and washing off promptly in the morning. They work OK for your first use, they do not work to simply apply in the morning and go out about your day. But a few uses in, and the results are unquestionable. The name is not overkill - they totally block sweat where applied.

Game change for hyperhidrosis
I love this thing. I use it on my underarms, my chest, my face, and even my scalp. I'm an extremely sweaty person, especially on my head and face. Like, if I get even the tiniest bit warm, I'm dripping like that meme of Jordan Peele. I hate it, especially because I wear glasses and it leaves me constantly blind (and I can wipe them, because my shirt gets soaked too!). This makes it so easy to fix that without having to shell out for botox and dealing with the other effects that also has (I don't want a tight face I just don't wanna be sweaty!!). The roller applicator is super easy to use, and while wipes might be easier for bigger areas, I like this for my face. It IS itchy on my face and does burn my underarms, but I have extremely sensitive skin in my pits (literally all I can use are women's Suave, Dove, or Secret deodorant/antiperspirant, and even then only the white stick kind. No areosols or gels for me) so the burning isn't any different than if I tried to use another type of deodorant. The itchiness anywhere else i use it is also normal for this type of product, and a few light slaps/patting helps relieve it without wiping away the product. I use it before bed, so I can leave it on for the recommended 6-8 hours, and by the time I wake up my skin feels a little tight but otherwise doesn't itch or burn- and as soon as I rinse it off or take a shower, the tightness goes away, too! Then, I don't sweat for a WEEK. It's amazing. I use this every 6 days or so during the summer (and the more you use it consistently, the less it itches/burns when you reapply). If you have hyperhidrosis, this is a game changer. It also helps me get less dehydrated in the summer because I'm not sweating everything out!

Based on PERSONAL result
My son has a major sweat issue. It has been problematic for years. Even went to the practitioner for help. He was given a prescription for a formula that could never get filled for some reason. Years have passed and still has the over productive sweat issue. He ordered this SweatBlock Antiperspirant Roll On. Here are his results: 1. Easy instructions for the application. 2. First time of applying he applied to the center area of armpit. He had itching and a rash in the area of the application. He washed it off in the morning like instructions said. He had NO sweating in the area of the application but sweat above and below the area where it was applied. 3. The rash and irritation went away. But it did cause him to be irritated with the formula. 4. He continues to use it and applies it in a more widespread area of the armpit. 5. Formula of antiperspirant works 100%. 6. If you can manage the side effects, which do get better and it is worthwhile to utilize. Overall, it's a really good product minus the irritation.

It WORKS! :O
So I have super sweaty arm pits (probably hyper hydrosis, but have never checked), and I use this once a week or so to completely stop sweating. When I use this for the first few days I honestly don't even need deoderant, and when I do use it I use it without aluminum. Been using this for years and I always recommend to everyone! Also, I've read reviews about skin irritation, but aside from some itchiness when I first apply, I've never had any issues with irritation. I should also note I have sensitive skin, but I know everyone is different.

Holy Hyperhidrosis
So I've never been diagnosed with hyperhidrosis but I am 100% positive I have it. I mean, not only do I sweat when I'm working out, but I sweat as I'm making the morning coffee or reading a book calmly in bed late at night. The type of sweat? Massive pit stains - some that practically go down to my waist. I can't wear certain pieces of clothing because I know I'm going to sweat in them and end up mortified. Large sweaters are basically my life. My mom keeps trying to tell me that "it's a phase" or that "you're just really anxious" but after 15 years of experiencing this level of sweat, I'm just not sure she's right. Sorry, mom. But then I found this little product on a whim... I bought it because I was going to meet my boyfriend's extended family and I did NOT want to be the weird, sweaty girlfriend. So I put this on and I kid you not - I've never been happier when it comes to my sweating. Do I get the tiny pit stain every now and then? Yup! This product isn't 100% perfect - but when I say a small pit stain, I mean maybe...the size of a quarter? It feels normal (and for those who sweat as much as I do, that feeling is VERY strange haha). I will say that after using it multiple days in a row, I noticed that my skin was a bit sensitive. I think this product can be quite extreme, so I relaxed it to every other day after a shower - and I've enjoyed the same great results and my skin is feeling less irritated. So keep that in mind - you'll want to use it every day because you're so overjoyed...but probably don't. Every couple of days is a great top off. I actually bought a fabric, sleeveless dress and wore it all throughout the day and never once felt like I had to go put on a sweater in order to cover up my pit stains. So yeah, give it a try. You read through this entire review, after all. You must be curious. Worst case, you'll still be looking for what works for your body. Best case, you'll feel like a normal sweating person for the first time ever. I wish you dry pits, my friend.

Gave me a rash but worst of all, it didn't work!
I was skeptical but seeing as I have not had a problem with those ingredients before and when applying similar to my face (obviously not the alcohol) or other parts of my body, I've had reduced sweating and even less pimples, so that seems like it should be okay, right? Not a chance. First off, I would love if the ingredients could be more easily located. You have to go to the Sweatblock website to figure out what they are. I'd do less work if they were stated here and not in a place where I have to really look and sift through the pages. I had to give up and just go to the website, then make a judgement call of letting myself be a guinea pig. So once the product arrived, I followed the instructions. One armpit, alright. A-okay. Second armpit? The burning felt like my skin was splitting. Luckily it was just irritating and the skin looked like some road rash. The burning was truly instantaneous and I figured that's the witch hazel giving it a little sting. That sting was not little. That's not a witch hazel sting. I know what that feels like and this is burning. I cleaned it off, surveyed the damage, and put a very gentle moisturizer on the burned skin. Since the other armpit wasn't afflicted, I decided to just follow along and see if that would work. I rinsed it off, got into a cute little outfit to do a street fair in, and realized I was still dripping sweat. I was dripping sweat from both armpits and I'm also dealing with burned/chapped skin on the other armpit. Now that pit was stinging and sweaty. Yes that hurt and it's still dry and chapped, even if it's not burning anymore. Proceed with caution. Be careful. If you're willing to try it, I'd suggest spot testing so you don't end up like a lot of us leaving reviews. This could still work for a lot of people but that's obviously not me.

The wipes work better but the roll-on is gentler on the skin.
I got this after having used the SWEAT BLOCK MAXIMUM wipes. Even though the roll-on antiperspirant is supposed to be more or less the same . . . I found that it has a far stronger scent & doesn't seem to be quite as effective as the wipes. It's a thicker consistency than the wipes & as a result the roll-on product requires more drying time. Which might not be an issue depending on where you apply it & how you position yourself to sleep. I find it to be a hassle trying to sit or lay around with my arms up for 20 minutes or more waiting for it to dry before I can go to sleep. I also found the wipes to be more effective on my face & hairline where my "hyperhidrosis"/excessive sweating is the worst. You see, my theory was that if the roll-on was essentially the same as the wipes - the same primary ingredients & the same percentage - then it might be easier, less wasteful, & more cost-effective to just use the roll-on. The wipes soak up & hold the Antiperspirant in a way that reduces the amount you can apply to your skin. Also, the wipes make it difficult to properly apply the Antiperspirant to areas such as the hairline. It seemed to me that having a bottle of the stuff & applying it directly with my fingers (instead of a wipe) would be more efficient & effective. I very well may have been right about that IF not for the fact that the roll-on is more the consistency of hair gel rather than the consistency of most roll-ons. I will say that it causes slightly less itching for me once it finally dries & it doesn't always dry out my skin for the following few days like the wipes usually do. However, it takes 20 times as long to dry as the wipes. Often I feel like it still hasn't completely dried even after several hours. No matter what area I've applied it to . . . 3 or 4 or more hours after I have applied it I feel like my skin is still a bit tacky/sticky & moist. I suspect the fact that this stuff dries so slowly (if at all) might be a large part of why it doesn't seem to be as effective as the wipes. It's still effective to a fair degree. If you haven't ever had to do things such as using panty liners as sweat pads for your armpits or if you're the type who only has excessive sweating under stress or a few times a week instead of all day . . . I would absolutely recommend this. However, if you're someone whose problem areas suddenly turn into a monsoon for no other reason than a momentary, single degree increas in the temperature . . . You might want to go with the wipes instead of this.

i’m shocked
I’d like to preface this by acknowledging how cliche it is to start a review by saying “I usually don’t write reviews” but I’m being genuine. I rarely post comments on my friends social media, let alone posting reviews for amazon products i’ve bought on a whim. to understand my 5 star rating and utmost respect towards this company, we must go back to the very beginning. I (22F) have had issues with sweating for quite literally my entire life. From the age puberty hit and BO came into the equation until mid highschool, I couldn’t walk around the block in the middle of february in new york with a light jacket on without profusely sweating from my pits and groin area. don’t get me started on the summers in the south, i could never wear shorts without a puddle forming beneath me. I spent literal years going from product to product- duradry, carpe, every clinical strength deodorant under sun until i finally got it down to a science that worked for MY body a few years ago. A shower twice a day, secret clinical strength deodorant for my armpits and whatever heavy antiperspirant would work for my thigh pits (usually nothing was good enough!) after every shower. When i say even this wasn’t enough. I walk 15 mins to work and that’s an absolute horror no matter the weather. I go to the gym every day and that’s a complete mess. I could also spend hours talking about the random nights of waking up on a literal drenched sweat for absolutely no reason other than having the duvet on for a little too long. recently was randomly scrolling through amazon and this product caught my eye. like i said, ive used all the self proclaimed best antiperspirant roll ons, lotions, wipes, deodorants, sprays, etc so seeing this one didn’t really stand out to me outside of the reviews. a few people mentioned it helped with their hyperhydrosis and that’s something i’ve self diagnosed myself with a few months ago (who can afford healthcare amiright). that was good enough for me so i bought it. when i say night one was immaculate. i showered and rolled it on both pits as instructed and let it air dry (no deodorant). i didn’t have any burning like the reviews mentioned so that was a plus. went to sleep as normal and woke up to nothing! not a drop of sweat NOR a hint of smell from no deodorant all night. i washed it off, applied my deodorant and went on about my day. i went to the GYM! NO SWEAT! NO SMELL! i walked to work, NO SWEAT! NO SMELL! This is day 3 of wearing it and absolutely nothing has worked as well as this product.
