Overall it works as it should. Description states it has 5 magnets. It only has one & it’s about the size of a penny. If your product description says it has 5 magnets. It should have 5 magnets. That’s why I bought it. It had more magnets than the others.

This is far superior to internal shields as the heat never enters the glass.Easy to remove and install.Coating is inferior, leading to breakdown over time when exposed to heat. (Its main job).

I LIKE THIS PRODUCT, IT IS EASY TO USE, WORKS WELL. MAGNETS ARE NOT STRONG ENOUGH. ON INSTALLATION LIGHT BREEZE BLEW LOWER PORTION WHERE MAGNETS ARE LOCATED UP. WHEN I HOOKED UP THE STRAPS IT WORKED FINE. UPDATE: PLASTIC HOOKS BROKE SOON AND STRAPS WERENOT ELASTIC. I CUT OFF STRAPS AND PURCHASED TARP CLIPS AND BUNGEE CORDS. WORKS FINE AFTERMY MODIFICATION.

All this product needs to make it great is 2 straps connecting on the inside of the vehicle.

My neighbor had gifted me a magnetic windshield cover and I loved it. The silver outer layer degraded, and I bought this one b/c it is magnetic. NOT. :(

The black “oxford cloth” backing is paper which clumps off after a month. Better to surgically remove it before it crumbles. Silver top and straps work well.

Easy to use, but I found folding for storage a little bit awkward.
