I've wanted a PS5 for a while now. Ironically, it has less to do with any PS5-exclusive games (you can count those on one hand, pretty much), but after getting a 4K TV, I wanted to see just how big of a difference there was in my existing PS4 library...plus, I wanted a PS5 anyway. Given the problematic microchip shortage (still aching to get a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W, thanks scalpers), I wasn't confident in getting one of these anytime soon, not to mention the rampant scalping that is still ongoing. When I heard about Amazon's invitation approach, I thought "what the heck?" and gave it a shot. I got my invite days later, and pulled the trigger. I got a month of the Premium Plus membership, which I also heartily recommend, especially for those who are just starting too dip their toes into video games. It's a real good deal. Played through all of Dark Pictures: Little Hope and Ys IX, and a few game trials and more. It's at its best on the PS5, BTW. The system is excellent, but I should mention that at this time, it's essentially a "Super PS4 Pro". I know that this is consistent with new systems, and it appears that current global events are putting the stranglehold on more innovation, but I am glad to see some really awesome PS5 games coming soon, especially Alan Wake 2, Street Fighter 6, and more. I've just gotta say it. The system looks weird, and weirder still on its side. It comes with a base that does the job, but like my wife described it, it looks "melted". My own opinion, I think it's too much design, but don't judge a book by its cover. The system and interface is exceptional, and gameplay is wonderful. The controller has even more heft to it than the PS4 DualShock, probably thanks to all the little motors in it delivering haptic feedback. This takes a lot of getting used to, but it's so novel that I'm more intrigued by it than anything else. I'm really glad to get one of these, even if it was at full MSRP. (I usually wait for Black Friday deals, but given the current climate for microprocessors and the demand of these, I wasn't counting on this for at least a couple of years.) For anyone who has struggled to get one, really just request an invite. No obligation, but mine literally shipped and arrived the day I ordered it. No other business is even coming close to as (frankly) elegant way of fighting the scalpers on this front than Amazon. Now if they would just do the same for those Raspberry Pis, I'd be thrilled!

Sinceramente una buena compra y buena respuesta del vendedor además de que te permite facturar. El envío llegó bastante rápido y buena oferta en su momento, la caja de Amazon llegó intacta ojalá decir lo mismo sobre la caja de la consola pero se nota el maltrato, fuera de eso todo el contenido (consola, mando, cables, etc.) se mantuvieron intactos dentro, todo en orden y completo. La versión que me llegó fué la japonesa (ambos manuales en japonés también), pero no hay de qué preocuparse ya que en la configuración de inicio muestra todos los idiomas disponibles (español latino, castellano, inglés, etc.) Cuenta con retrocompatibilidad con juegos físicos y digitales de PS4, para juegos de PS4 no es necesario jugarlos con el Dualshock 4, con el mismo mando de la PS5 puedes jugar sin ningún problema; cabe resaltar que algunos juegos digitales de PS4 no permite jugarlos en ésta consola (por lo menos tengo un par en mi biblioteca que no me lo permite), desconozco si suceda lo mismo con juegos físicos pero la verdad son muy pocos. La instalación de la base es bastante sencilla en realidad, igualmente se recomienda investigar un poco al respecto para asegurarse, si no cuentas con un desarmador plano para atornillar la base puedes hacerlo con una moneda pequeña como alternativa. Únicas quejas (de momento): — El espacio de almacenamiento es menor al publicado, el almacenamiento disponible son 650Gb aproximadamente. — La batería del mando es verdad que suele durar entre 6 y 8 hrs. — Caja de consola dañada. — Los precios de juegos digitales. Respecto al almacenamiento puedes comprar una SSD compatible e instalarla en la consola, son bastantes accesibles en fechas de rebajas. En cuanto al mando, si bien no para todos es cómodo jugar con el mando conectado, por lo menos así no te preocupas de la batería. Por último los juegos digitales, la verdad son bastante caros, pero actualmente hay varios descuentos que valen la pena. Para concluir: vale la pena? Sí, sólo si la encuentras en un buen precio, ya que su precio "normal" varía entre los 12k y 14k pesos mexicanos (700 - 800 dólares). Independientemente si sea tu primera consola o dar el salto de generación y en verdad quieras ésta consola te recomiendo por mucho esperar a que tenga descuento, no la recomiendo comprar por más de 10k pesos mexicanos (que sobre pase los 600 dólares). Fuera de eso la verdad es recomendable su compra, si bien Xbox puede tener más "accesibilidad y servicios" no tiene nada que envidiarle, la potencia es prácticamente la misma y es bastante silenciosa respecto a su antecesora la PS4. Esta es la versión japonesa; la caja y el instructivo rápido están en japonés pero el instructivo tiene dibujos muy fáciles de entender para encenderla por primera vez, posterior a eso lo primero que te pide la consola es que elijas el idioma (automáticamente pone el español como primera opción) y solo hay que seguir las indicaciones para dejarla a punto. Trae su base para colocarlo, cable de corriente HDMI y USB para el control. Funciona bien y es un poco más barata que la edición nacional. Recomendable

Voy a aclarar lo máximo de dudas sobre la versión Internacional de esta consola. -La caja llegó abierta, pero está prácticamente nueva, al parecer solo se abrió para temas de aduana, todos los accesorios estaban dentro y bien empaquetados como se espera. Si esto era lo que te preocupaba puedes comprar está versión sin preocupaciones. -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- PUEDES DEJAR DE LEER DESDE AQUÍ Daré ahora puntos sobre el funcionamiento de la consola en sí: -vi muchas quejas sobre el sonido de los ventiladores de la consola, le eh estado dando buenas horas seguidas a juegos como dead island 2 o Gow Ragnarok, y el sonido de los ventiladores es muy bajo, casi no se percibe más que en momentos en los que no hay ningún sonido. -me sorprendió bastante los tiempos de carga, se nota bastante el cambio si tenías antes una PS4. -El control está bien, el giroscopio se siente genial con la vibración aptica, y los gatillos en juegos de disparos están de lujo, el único inconveniente es la duración de la pila, le dura como 6 horas aprox, yo en ese caso compraría un segundo control... -Los videojuegos se ven bastante bien, no hay mucho que decir aquí. -Este es un buen año para adquirir la ps5, ya que dejarán de salir nuevos lanzamientos para la PS4. -Los precios de ps plus subieron de precio, solo compraría ese servicio cuando esté en oferta(navidad, viernes negro, etc...), la variedad de juegos que ofrece la subscripción está bien. -los juegos son bastante caros de lanzamiento, y poco después los bajan de precio.

Me llegó hace dos meses y no quise poner reseña hasta probarlo, y la verdad es que he jugado demasiado, hasta 8 horas seguidas por varios días y jamás ha fallado, hasta el momento todo funciona perfectamente, espero que siga así, pero puedo decir que fue una excelente compra! Llega con la caja en chino, pero no afecta, puedes ponerle tu idioma al inicio y actualizas el sistema y todo perfecto!
