This is a low cost, lightweight stand but it is fine for supporting a large 2m x1.5m pop-up background, upright or horizontal. The four section, telescopic stand extends safely up to 2.3m, keeping the leg spreaders horizontal and each section having 4-5cm of overlap.The crossbar tube is in two parts which you simply push together and line up the centre hole. The threaded pin at the top of the stand goes through the hole and is held in place with a decent sized butterfly nut and a washer. The assembled crossbar is just over 1.5m. A nice detail is that it has plastic end stops which would help avoid injury if anyone bumped into it. However, with the cross bar only having that centre pin mount, it is the weakest point. It isn't sturdy enough to hang anything weighty, like a lamp. That said, for a large pop-up reflector or hanging a drape, it's fine.There are four large plastic clips supplied with the stand. These are a decent size and have a strong spring and will easily hold a drape or reflector in place on the cross bar.As long as you accept this is not going to be as robust as a professional stand, it will do the job it's designed for. I'm happy with this purchase and think it's a good buy.

Value for money stand. Well constructed, however, bit light, which is not an issue for me. but will require stability weights on the base to stop it tipping over if you put weighty items on the t-bars.

Does the job but is very flimsy, more about the design than the quality. Best to buy one with two stands, one on either side.

A lightweight stand, suitable for occasional use. It's easy to put together, but the tripod part feels very flimsy when folding it back up again, so I'd be careful not to put too much force into it. The pads on the clips come off, which is by design, but this happens a little too easily, though they're very easy to clip back on again. Just watch out for your fingers when doing so.Knowing all of the above, for its price it's a decent little piece of kit, that will be perfectly suitable for the few times I'm going to need it, which is simply to hang something on to hide the rest of my home from view during video meetings.

Firm grip and stable. It did the work brilliantly

I used this for photos and they turned very good . It’s a bit light but for the price it was worth it for what I needed. If you are using it constantly I would recommend something a bit heavier.

Got this for my YouTube green screen videos and it works like a charm serves its purpose well.

The clips are too small to hold any type of backdrop which means i need to purchase longer clips (not impressed).
