The torch more than meet my expectations, but the vendor ADeStore totally exceeded them.
Torch was as I expected, a bit more powerful than I thought it would be. Flame is very long which might seem like an issue at first if all you want to do it put a quick char on something delicate like a Creme Brulee. But you can turn the main valve control knob to get a very small flame once lit. Piezo trigger ignition is very reliable and the position of the trigger makes it easy to activate with a single hand. Also the flame shape can be somewhat manipulated with the gray adjustment knob along the barrel. It goes from a spot to a wide flame. One noteworthy thing is how often we take for granted a very proactive and responsive vendor? When I placed my order, in addition to the email I got from Amazon I actually got one directly from the vendor (ADeStore) thanking me for my purchase informing it was on the way. Then again once I got my order I got another email letting me know to contact them if I had any issues or if anything was wrong with my order. It's very easy to take something like that for granted in this day and age. Especially when you sometimes have to fight with a vendor to make things right when something does go wrong. So I really appreciate it when a seller takes the time to actually make sure I got everything and its working out okay in such a proactive manner. Thank you ADeStore for a great experience and I look forward to my next purchase with you!

This is a nice torch with a good set of adjustments
This is a nice torch with a good set of adjustments, much better than the basic propane torch it replaces. Using it for low-temp soldering, sweating pipes, heating stuck fittings and general mechanical stuff. The butane is cheap, easy to get, and last a long time. Marks off for the crappy self-igniter, which only works occasionally. I just use it with a lighter. On edit - bumped the stars up to 4, after figuring out that the front barrel adjustment turns to reduce flow rate, and then the trigger self-igniter works perfect every time. My bad.

This was a great product until today
This was a great product until today. I wish it was an April Fools Joke considering it happened on April 1, but it definitely wasn't when I started using it to heat up my shisha coals on the balcony and this time it decided to combust and start burning everything in sight. Luckily the damage was relatively contained to the outdoor rug (and a bit of my arm hair) as I rushed to the kitchen to get a pitcher of water to hose the fire down. I would upload some pictures as proof, but one would normally agree that common sense should be priority to save myself and my home instead of running for the camera. After the torch burner cooled down, it seemed like the seal decided to break (FYI: bought this thing in June 2015, and used occasionally) and so the butane attachment was leaking and so when the switch was pressed, everything lit up surrounding it. So this torch burner lasted about 9 months, worked great, until it decided to break and burn you and everything in sight. Be wary and make sure to have some water handy for when it decides it not longer wants to function.

becomes Molotov cocktail after period of time.
Worked fine with occasional to rare usage for a year. Last use began hissing, leaking, and caught fire. I see this has happened to others as well. Replaced gas canister with no change in sudden flammability. Appears seal is defective. I also own the Iwatani torch and it has worked safely for three years. They appear identical but apparently not.

Overall a nice home use product
While it is new, there are no no immediate problems. Foreseeable future problems are the weak plastic lock on the bottom that connects to the butane can, has to be handled with care, otherwise, can break off. Not sure if it is the product I have, but the torch size knob on the back end is a little unstable; certain movements will cause the torch size to increase or decrease by itself. Overall a nice home use product. Wouldn't recommend for heavy commercial use.

Very nice torch to pair with Sous Vide cooking
An excellent performer! Attaches and detaches easily to gas bottles locally available at my Asian Market (used to table top cookers). Flame adjusts easily. Sometimes the torch is a bit particular about being tilted too far when you first fire it up, but after a few seconds of burn time, it becomes very tolerant of steeper angles. I've run it about 15-20 minutes total fire time, and I'm still on the first bottle of gas. I love that I can just attach the bottles, without have to deal with a built in fluid reservoir for the fuel. The torch also has a nice, large flame area instead of one of the small, pin-point hobby-style outputs. Makes it much easier to sear a large steak or half a grapefruit for Brulee'd fruit. Would buy again!

Great, reliable flame gun
Great, reliable flame gun. Perfect for finishing meat cooked using the "sous vide" method. Excellent, simple controls for gas flow and air mixing. The flame nozzle is long enough to prevent thermal heat transfer to the ignitor trigger. Good value for the money.

Very easy to use especially considering I don't have to refill ...
Very easy to use especially considering I don't have to refill the torch after every use. Using the disposable canister is a great idea :D. The flame is very strong and does a great job. Only gripe that made me give it a 4 star instead of a 5 is that the flow control is very touch and very hard to reduce the flame when full blast isn't required.
