Very nice clipboard for coaching soccer. The pen (included) works quite well and is very easy to clean off of the board. The 'front' is a full field view whereas the back is a close-up on goal for tighter strategies and play design. The board is fairly large (larger than a traditional notepad) which is OK for me; very sturdy and is of a quality construction. Only negative is where to keep the pen/marker between uses... mine usually comes unclipped from behind the metallic grip and swims around in my bag. Other than that 110% great item.

This board is great for basketball coaches. Mine came with Velcro on it for the marker. You can use that to erase the board, but I just have a paper towel under the clip I can use to erase it. It seems to get rid of the marker better. The marker has worked for two games so far. The board is durable and has a half court on the backside along with a chart you can use for match-ups or dividing your team up as far as subs goes. I would recommend it over other ones I have used so far, including the ones you can buy at Dick's. I don't know the exact dimensions, but I would say it is close to a legal tablet size.

Things you should know about this clipboard before you buy it: 1. There is no velcro strap to attach the dry-erase marker to the clipboard so you will need to find another place to store it like a pocket or chair or elsewhere. Not a big deal unless you lose pens & pencils a lot. On the other end, it has a pad attached to the marker lid that is used to erase the board instead finding a tissue or something that can be rougher on you and rougher on the board. 2. This clipboard is larger than notebook size. You won't be able to store it with your normal notebooks and folders. I wouldn't recommend writing directly onto a piece of paper on the clipboard but would recommend using it as a backboard if you have a notebook or scorebook you write into. This clipboard has a clip at the top if you need it to hold papers or other things in place. 3. If you are deciding between this board and others, this clipboard has the courts illustrated in yellow which makes the plays easier to see for you and your players. It may sound silly, but when you get in a gym with white colored walls and odd lighting, it provides good contrast and highlight for your play drawing instead of staring at black marks on a white board. This board will not disappoint. It serves its purpose. It has full court on the clip side on half court on the back side along with spaces for player names and #s, making it easier to identify your players on the play drawing, by number or by name instead of just by court position.

I've been coaching baseball 14 yrs. This by far is my favorite clipboard. It's durable, withstands being tossed around everywhere in the equipment bag and on the fence. Love that it has the dry erase. It's long which I like too.

I coach a soccer team as well as basketball and we got this to help us show our kids court and field position. Although it is obviously designed for basketball, it actually works fairly well for our soccer team as well, since we can quickly sketch positions for our kids in the huddle and show them visually what we are talking about. As far as usability, it works great - it is quick and easy to clean and the velcro attaching the included marker is a nice touch. Overall, this did exactly what I wanted it to and it proved to be more flexible than I had expected. If you're coaching basketball, this is a wonderful tool. Highly recommended.

I’m a high school lacrosse coach and this is the perfect board for walking the kids through plays, clearing, defensive schemes, etc. I really like the pen holder and the hand hold. Very convenient. I’ve use the board all season and it’s held up great. Highly recommended.

Ok. My package was open. Was missing the marker. There was tape residue on the boards, making it hard to erase. Amazon, or the company that made the board, didn't leave me any option except to return and buy another one.

I coach youth basketball and looked in a bunch of stores but couldn't find a basketball clip board. I tried amazon and found this one. It's great! Easy to use, the pen has nice Velcro sticky so it won't fall off. The front side has a full court and the back side has an enlarged half court. It was very helpful to draw plays on the board for visual learners. And it's only 10 bucks, so you really can't go wrong. The ink is very easy to wipe off as well. Excellent product.

The quality of the board is great (firm and strong) and its very easy to write on. The common problem with boards like this that I have bought before are that they erased badly and left stains... this one wipes clean the first time. I had to wait 3 weeks for it to be delivered but it was well worth it!!

I like this board - works well and does what it is supposed to. My only issue is that it is a bit longer than I need and doesn't fit into my bag quite as well as my old clipboard. However, this allows for a bigger field to draw on, so for some that would be a positive. Overall - good product, cheap, quick delivery. And the kids like playing with it. :)
