My All-Time Favorite Pens... Especially the 0.38mm!
I absolutely love these pens! The ultra-fine 0.38mm tip allows me to write clearly in small spaces, which is perfect for planners, journals, and detailed notes. I was first introduced to Pilot G2 pens about 10 years ago and have always appreciated their vibrant colors and reliable quality. But discovering the 0.38mm version was a game-changer. I’m completely in love! The ink flows smoothly without clogging, and they last impressively long. Honestly, they outperform every other pen I’ve ever used. Highly recommend for anyone who values precision and performance in their writing tools! They do not smear, and you can only find them online, as they're not carried in stores.

Writing with precise small characters is a blast!
These pens, especially the Ultra Fine Point, 0.38mm, Black Ink ones are superb. Their lines are consistent, never a break in the flow, and if I need to fill in a small space with writing that is small, the precision is easy to maintain. Each pen lasts a long time, too. The only issue I have is that coworkers "borrow" them and "forget" to return them. They see how great these are!

BEST pens ever!
I have horrible handwriting and thick gel ink only makes it look worse (and harder to read). I tried these and they are great. The ink line is so fine that it looks and writes like a pencil that was just sharpened. Even though the ink line is very fine, it is still smooth and solid without skipping any spots. They even make my handwriting look a little bit better somehow. I have now ordered these in bulk in both blue ink and black ink (because everyone in my office keeps "borrowing" them. Funny how they never get returned. It's okay though, I understand that when you find a pen that writes this well, you can't give it back LOL.

Fine and smooth
Nice fine point for writing in small spaces but still smooth and easy flowing. Archival quality for writing in photo books. May smear on some types of paper if you don’t wait just a few seconds before touching. I like them a lot for my photo journal.

Survived the Washer and Dryer
I have been using these pens in .7, .5 and .38 for 13+ years now and I have always had a positive experience. Now just the other day one of my pens survived the washing machine and dryer without sustaining any damage or leaking. No damage to the machines as well. The pieces came apart but it was easy to find them and screw back together. I highly recommend these pens over any other. They write smooth and are well worth the price. The weird fan base Pilot seems to have is well-earned. Also if you are left-handed the .38 has very minimal smearing.

I wish these were refillable
I refuse to use any other pen. When I’m at work and need to sign something, I will go out of my way to grab one of these bad boys if offered something else. I started using these in high school and havent looked back since. The comfort with writing, the ease of writing on paper in a smooth and even flow, there’s nothing else on the market (in the US at least) that matches the quality. The ink sometimes can smear if you’re really gunning it but it takes seconds to dry and don’t get that black mark on the edge of my hand when I’m finished writing something up. I usually use the 0.7mm but they also have 0.35mm and wow that is probably as thin as you can get without ripping the paper. In the wise words of famous NASCAR driver, Ricky Bobby: “if you don’t use a Pilot G-2.. F*** you”

Very Good Pens, but Often Breakdown -- Recommend 0.5
These Pens are Fantastic, the best, smoothest pens in the game, and the only pens I use, however, I noticed that the 0.38 pens tend to break down often around 1/2 to 1/3 ink left -- usually with ball bearing tip jamming or coming out of the nose -- I now only buy the 0.5 pens and I get all the benefits of the 0.38 without the breakdown. Best pens in the game, I just recommend the 0.5.

the best xfine point gel pen ever
These are the best of the best that I own. The point is lovely, and the ink so dark, and no annoying scratchy feeling when writing.

VERY smooth writing for a very fine point pen! I am impressed, to say the least. I've tried many different pens in my nursing career. These pens are great for writing my community nursing notes and especially on the MAR's (medication administration records) that have very small, limited space for recording.
