Exact replacement for plastic wheel bolt covers for VW's inexpensive, and 20 is more than you will use unless you want to replace them on all 4 wheels. I have given several way to other VW owners that have one missing.

Bought to replace missing pieces, they look the same but never used. Still in the garage

For a mk7/mk8 golf GTI/R, the pieces meant for the locking lug aren't quite an exact fit, they're slightly undersized and push back out from the seated position. Solution was to wrap clear tape around the outside until there was sufficient friction from the socket to hold the cap in place.

Perfect replacement. Nice and snug. Comes with a removal tool. Can’t beat the price. Reviewers giving one star due to different sizes? It is by design so that one fits the key lug. If they were all same, I would have 4 qty I can not use. Please purchase the correct item for your need.

I purchased these for a 2001 VW Eos. The regular caps were fine and seated when pressed down. The problem was trying to cover the factory locking lug nut. These did not work at all. To show what happened to the caps, I added a cotton ball into one and a piece of paper in the other. (It's hard to see without something to contrast the black plastic. The one with the cotton ball shows that the inner protrusions of the cap kept folding inside the center of the cap every time I tried to press it on and the cap wouldn't seat. I gave up on this one and tried a second one. I tried to make sure I pushes the inner tabs toward the cap hoping that would solve the issue. It felt like I was getting there and the cap seated, but when I released it, the cap kept sliding off. I took it all the way off and then found out it had cracked while going on. I pulled out my caliper and measured to see if that was the issue. The measurement I got for inside the tabs was 21.15mm. I measured the locking lug on my Eos and got 23.75mm. Clearly it was not properly sized for my vehicle and probably won't fit on other VW's with factory locking lugs.

The description accurately tells you what your are getting - 16 regular caps for non-locking nuts and 4 caps for locking lug nuts. Each wheel on my car has four regular and one locking lug nuts - I got what I ordered, as advertised. If you need something else, buy something else. They are a perfect fit to original in form, fit and function. Given all of that, for the price they were a good value for me. (Note: Read the descriptions before ordering and make sure it fits your make and model car.) I would not hesitate to order these again if needed.

So first the good: they fit really well, nice and snug. I am unsure about the locking lug caps though, because I don’t have any on my car so I can’t write to their fitment but the other 16 fit very well Next the meh: the finish is nice, but not quite as matte/flat as OEM, and not as smooth of a texture. This isn’t necessarily a negative as it’s still a nice finish, just not factory. Now the bad: *note the picture (OEM on left, middle and right two are examples of what I received)*. The font doesn’t match factory and there is a significant gap/spacing for the letters O, L and K, and no real spacing between the S and W of Wagen. For reference it looks kinda like this: V O L KSWAGEN instead of VOLKS WAGEN as with factory covers. Next is the locking lug cover… it’s a different font, the letters not as deep (on a few some letters are barely noticeable) and the center lowered area isn’t as “deep”. It’s like the punch machine struck these very lightly as compared to the non-locking lug covers. So all in all, you get what you pay for. They are cheap, look kinda cheap but fit well. In my opinion, their cheap quality still beats paying $2 a piece from VW

I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product, especially after reading the reviews. I received covers for 4 locking lug nuts and 16 for regular ones, and none of them are damaged. They fit my 2024 Volkswagen Jetta perfectly—very snug and secure. The color is great too.

Not the highest quality, but they do look decent and fit well. The round ones for the locking bolts are a tight squeeze.
