Excellent strings with warm, bright tone!
I installed these Elixir Nanoweb 12-53 strings on my Yamaha acoustic guitar and the difference was immediate — rich, full tone with just the right amount of brightness. They feel smooth under the fingers and stay in tune very well. The coating really helps reduce finger squeak and seems like it will extend the life of the strings. Perfect for both strumming and fingerpicking. Highly recommend for anyone who wants long-lasting, great-sounding acoustic strings.

Long-Lasting & Great Tone!
Elixir Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings –The Elixir Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings are some of the best strings I’ve used. They offer a rich, warm tone and last significantly longer than most other brands, thanks to their Nanoweb coating.Pros:✔ Fantastic Tone – The phosphor bronze gives a warm, balanced sound with great clarity.✔ Long-Lasting – The Nanoweb coating helps prevent dirt and sweat buildup, making them last much longer than regular strings.✔ Smooth Feel – The coating provides a comfortable playing experience, reducing finger squeak.✔ Great for Frequent Players – Ideal for those who play often and don’t want to change strings frequently.Cons:✖ Slightly Expensive – Higher price than some competitors, but worth it for the longevity.✖ Coated Feel Might Not Be for Everyone – Some players prefer the texture of uncoated strings, but this comes down to personal preference.Final Verdict:If you want acoustic guitar strings that sound great, feel smooth, and last a long time, Elixir Phosphor Bronze is a top-tier choice. The price is higher, but the longevity and tone make them a fantastic investment.– Worth every penny for the tone and durability!

WOW. JUST WOW... I wish i knew about these years ago. I feel like I've been missing out.
I have not played like i played after i got these stringed up in years. Just WOW. They sound beautiful. I payed for like 45 minutes straight, and i was in the zone like it i was on cocaine. They sounded THAT good.I prefer the lighter strings and the ease of playing them, but you loose a bit of the fullness of the sound with a lighter gauge. These 11-52's are pretty comfortable to play, and the nanoweb coating makes them very smooth and easier to play. They are bright, full, round, great sustain, and loud. Awesome Strings. Period. I am VERY Happy with them.I just can not get over the sound. I had a set of Martin 12-56's Phosphor Bronze on my Yamaha Acoustic before and i thought they sounded pretty darn good, but a little stiff and hard to play after playing my electrics most of the time. But these blow them away in sound and play-ability. I'm not saying Martin's are the best, but they're pretty good sounding, especially for the price. These are 3 times the price, but in my opinion, they just about sound 3 times as good.I read that a few people received sets that they believed to be fake. I grabbed my multi-meter and checked them when they arrived and the set i received did not cause the meter to read as "open". They do if you press really hard with the meter leads, but i don't think that is a totally accurate measure of legitimacy. If these are fakes, they are still worth the price, lol.I was hopeful because of the hype behind these, and since they are pretty dang spendy for a single set of strings. I hope that they last as long as they claim to last with the nanoweb coating. I just put them on like 2 hours ago. I had to write a review, just to share.I will totally buy these again, and i will be ordering a set for a buddy of mine. They are so nice that i have to share the beauty.I will update my review if anything changes.I really hope they last 3 times as long as a typically set, being 3 times the price. That is my only complaint.

Warm and Smooth...They just work!
I have cycled through many different acoustic strings over the years from all the major brands to even smaller "boutique" brands and I always return to Elixir Phosphor Bronze. They are what my guitar tech and luthier have always recommended and what they have always put on my guitars when they have done any type of work to them because they know ultimately it is the brand that will bring out the real sound of any acoustic. To me, these strings have a kind of "slinky" feel that makes them easy to install. They wind easily and tune up quickly with very little need of settling before staying in tune. The light coating on the strings helps immensely in calming down that sound of fingers sliding on new strings. That "squeal" that all guitarists know. They don't slip and because of that they hold their tune for a very long time. I switch back and forth between fingerpicking and using a pick and I very rarely need to tune. Usually a quick tune check at the beginning of a set and I am good to go!As I get older I have had to go down a gauge in my electric strings but these are so comfortable and play so effortlessly that I have been able to continue to play a 12-53 set with very little to no hand fatigue at all. I would highly recommend these strings to anyone from a beginner to a seasoned professional without hesitation. Even though they are on the pricier side they are worth every penny. The coating truly does extend the life of these strings far beyond that of regular or uncoated strings. I would describe the tone as warm and smooth. It makes any acoustic simply sing and sound like an old friend. What can I say, they just work!
