LD © 4inkjets' Replacement CLP-K300A Black Laser Toner Cartridge for use in Samsung CLP-300, CLX-2160, & CLX-3160 Printers

Unfortunately, ink and toner are hard to review after the purchase. I am happy with this toner and the quality of it, but it is going to last longer than the cartridges I got with the purchase of the printer. How happy will I be down the road? is my only question.I will come back and update this after the toner is gone, since most 3rd party toner issues occur in the middle of the lifecycle. My smaller printer-branded cartridge lasted nearly two years since I print mostly in low-quality grayscale.For now, I highly recommend this product as an alternative to refilling your old cartridge, which requires drilling, etc. The ease of installation is just as if you used a name-brand cartridge, but I'll admit I was a little worried at reading about the chips that printer manufacturers put into the cartridges-- the chips for some models need to be reprogrammed or matched up to the printer or whatever. This is not the case for this toner, and it was a relief to find out.Just turn your printer off, take out the old toner, put this one in, then turn the printer back on. You will see a message onscreen about the printer preparing the toner.The only real downside to this toner is that the cartridge does not have the fin that fits into the groove on the printer. (The fin ensures the cartridge is and remains in the correct position.)

I don't know what they're complain about. I have been buying this brand for six years. They last long and I have had no accidents. I wonder if they are not cleaning the excess powder chamber and putting them in right.

I've been using LD products for 5 years now and every single one has worked without ANY problems. The remarkable thing is that they are a fraction (75-80% cheaper) of the price of the retail toner cartridges. Also, as I print most everything in light/draft mode, I get between 1200-1500 pages, more than the predicted 800+ page yield.

When it breaks, the printer could not reconize the cartridge. That's why I give it a four stars. But I contacted LD manufacturer and they sent me a replacement for free (under warranty). The replacement is working well for now. Any way 5 star for LD manufacturer. I'll buy LD products again.

I bought all four colors and replaced all my manufacturer's cartridges at the same time. The other three colors are fine, but the black is faint, could be much darker. Not a problem for basic home use, but not really acceptable for documents which you might use for business purposes.

The toner cartridge came with installation instructions, in an easy-to-open cardboard box. It is similar to the Samsung OEM cartridges, except for a flimsier handle for removal. Print quality seems to be about the same in darkness and sharpness. At 1/4 the price of OEM ($12.99), definitely worth it!

I was hesitant to use an aftermarket product considering some of the reviews I about my Samsung CLP-300 toner but I have not had one single problem since installing this cartridge. Highly recommended and a fraction of the cost of OEM.

This toner prints very very light. Completely waste of money. I used the orignal toner for about 3 years and had to replace it as running out. However, this new one even lighter.
