A thread got loose on a leather strap. I needed scissors that can cut very small surface with amazing accuracy. I used a 10x magnifier to see as I made cuts to tiny threads, a few at a time. I bought the scissors based om the reviews and because it pops up if you search on Amazon for cuticle scissors. For the price I would not buy them again. The feel flimsy and loose. They do cut very well though. My favorite brand of nail cutter scissors is Premax. I did not think that Amazon sold these as they never appeared as a result when looking for scissors. They do and I immediately bought a pair of their cuticle scissors on Amazon after receiving the Germanikure scissors. The Premax are a bit thicker than the Germanikure, but feel much better in the hand and the construction quality is much better.

Sharp and perfect size for trimming around the nails.

These are very good quality. If you are guy (or female) with thick cuticles they are perfect. If you have more delicate cuticles like me you have to be very careful when you cut. If the tips were longer and thinner, they would work better for me. The tips are very sharp, and I actually ended up piercing my nail base trying to use them. I am more careful now, and don't attempt to cut more delicate ones. After a shower is better, because the cuticles are softer and pull away from the nail bed better.
