CREATIVE CEDAR DESIGNS Timber Valley Playset Accessories & Green Slide

Delivered as three boxes (2 large boxes each with wood components, 1 box including swings/glider and hardware) with additional slide (un-boxed). It took several adults approximately 2 days to put this together; however, if you or someone in your group is not "handy" it could easily take 3-4 days. The first day was mostly sorting and organizing. All of the wood pieces are packaged in no particular order and all the hardware is mixed together in one large bag. Though tedious, it is imperative to go through the step-by-step instructions on the first day and begin sorting all of the pieces and hardware by step. Some of the bolts differ by just 1/4" and must be used in the correct step or else you will get to a point where you think you have ran out of hardware; however, you probably just used the incorrect size somewhere else and didn't realize it. We were not sure what to expect ordering online and DIY installing, but it went smoothly. The end result was totally worth it as the kids have greatly enjoyed it.

directions provided had inaccurately identified parts, skme parts provided had different labels than the instructions, some hardware provided (bllts particularly) were not the correct size i.e. the instructions called for a 4.25 inch bolt and the longest the set came with was 4 inch, when attached the slide did not attach securely and split the wood, several boards came warped or with cracks. My kids enjoy playing on it despite being unable to attach the slide.

Poor quality product. Multiple wood parts were bowed or cracked. Metal parts damaged, missing holes. Wrong slide received. I requested replacement of the parts and did not hear back from the seller. Overall disappointed with poor quality and poor costumer service of this seller. I do not recommend this product. Read others reviews before investing your money!! Amazon customer service was no help. A to Z guarantee in my experience equals to NO guarantee!!!

This came in 4 packages. The 2 packages of lumber were pretty heavy. I did this whole thing by myself and it took 13 hours!! I’m a 39 year old, 180 lbs 6 ft male. My kid loves this and it seems to be very sturdy. My negatives are that I had a few warped boards that made alignment a bit difficult for a 1 person job. I was missing a couple pieces of hardware ($5 at the hardware store) that was a bit inconvenient but not expensive. My biggest argument was the hardware come semi-separated. A bag full of bolts that are only separated by 1/4” in length is a pain in the but. The packages aren’t labeled so I actually had to measure bolts at almost every step. Overall it’s great. Assembly can be frustrating though.

Good product. Instructions had many screws mislabeled though so you have to just figure it out.

Kids love this thing! Took a combined 8 hours to build but all the pieces were there and in good shape. The screws could have been better but nothing a quick trip to the hardware store can't fix. Would recommend.

I am very disappointed in this swingset. My husband put it together in April of this year. It is now August and basically falling apart. The wood is flimsy and cracking, the finish is wearing off. It moves like crazy when the kids are swinging, and everything is coming loose. I don’t see this lasting more than another year without needing a complete overhaul.I contacted Amazon a week after we put it together because we could already tell it was a piece of junk. They refunded me 40% of what we paid, which was more than I expected. But we originally paid almost $1000 for this, and spent a lot of time putting it together. It looks nice and the swings themselves seem to be pretty decent, but unless you have children no older than the age of 3 and only want a swingset to last two years, I do not recommend buying this.I read reviews on tons of wooden swing sets and they all pretty much said the same thing, so I feel like this is just how they’re all made. It’s a shame considering how much time and money we put into it.
