Once you use and extention it works great with s550
I went to this transmitter since my old smaller tx fried its own wires. The gauge was very tiny and worked great for short flights but I flew it for an hour and the wires fried together. I saw the wires to this one are nice and thick and spread apart. I didn't pay attention to the size though. It is really big. Took a while to find a spot on my s550 to would work for it. I came up with just using an extension to put the tx in a good spot will running the extension to the antenna to a better spot. Works great and now I have easy access with good antenna placement.

Good quality Video Transmitter and receiver for the price
It’s been 2 days and it’s still working fine for me xd, you should run it on 2s (8.4V) Lipo battery if your using a 600mw 1000tvl camera, it won’t overheat as much the other reviews has discussed...

Reversed Camera Voltage Out vs fatshark pinout pattern
CAUTION!! The 5-pin connector looks like a Fatshark connector. However, on the wolfwhoop transmitter, the connector pins for ground and for camera power are swapped, relative to the fatshark connector pinout. Thus the wolfwhoop WT832 transmitter "camera volts out" appears where the Fatshark camera ground pin is and the WT832 camera ground pin is where the Fatshark camera power pin is located. I appear to have burned up an otherwise useful Hero3 by plugging in a HERO3 bus-to-fatshark cable without checking the power to the camera. Backwards power/ground is often harmful to electronic things. I did think to change the audio wires on the Fatshark connector to be battery power for the WT832. BE CAEREFUL about the receiver power connections from the WT832. Also note that the receiver voltage out is nearly the same as battery voltage. It is not +5V.

Works okay when it is in the mood.
The RX runs pretty hot! It seems to have issues with changing its mind all on its own. Sometimes I have to search out the channels again after turning it off and on again. Not sure if I got a lemon or what. When it stays on the right channel it does seem to come in pretty good. I have not tried to TX yet. I will update this review when I do.

Good for an analog image
Since all the digital stuff is out of stock due to chip shortage, I went with this setup for testing. Never been into the whole FPV world. I got this to mount on an O gauge (3 rail) train layout, for fpv view. The TX gets toasty. Strap it to an alumn heat sink, or get a small fan to help dissipate some of the heat. Got some static as expected. Got a 2nd TX and mounted on a Axial Wraith and ran around the house while I sat inside. I did pick up an adapter that allows the composite connections to transfer the data via hdmi cable. Works well.

Very nice
Super clear picture. I'm using it to transmit a high def camera on my fiberglass "meter boat" to my HPV goggles, haven't used the receiver yet but the transmitter channel tuning is great and crystal clear.

Excellent, high quality products
Excellent, high quality products. They work better than my expectations. Fair price, delivered on time and good protective packaging. They will in near space soon, under a high altitude ballon projected to reach over 22 miles high. Thanks so much.
