I use a headlamp to read in bed so that I don't disturb my husband. Since this headlamp is rechargeable, it is much lighter and less bulky than previous headlamps I have had that use batteries. I wasn't sure how long it would hold a charge and was pleasantly surprised that it still was going strong after nearly a month -- I only recharged it at that point because I was going out of town. The headlamp has both red and white light options, which I use for different purposes. The head strap is thin, easily adjusted and comfortable. My only criticism is that it doesn't angle downward quite as far as I would like. It is an excellent value, and I would recommend it.

Love this headlight. It's surprisingly bright but what I love is that it remembers the last setting used. Since I use it for photogrpahy on the red light setting, I can turn it on and off as needed and it's always on red. If I need white, I just click multiple times. Very good value for the price.

I love being able to charge the battery, I use the red at night to look at my star guide and it is just as promised

Much lighter than the ones that need disposable batteries. Works great, charge lasts a good while. I like that it remembers the last setting you had it on so no need to cycle through all of them every time you turn it on.

Red was barely enough to light my hand right in front of me. Used it while camping and it was dim, the white was fine. Rechargeable options is sweet.
