This was not in the instructions, but should be-----The pump should make a low-pitched rumbling noise. Learn this sound, because it's the best way to know it's primed. If the sound is a higher steady hum, the pump is not primed and will run until it burns itself up. For priming, set your plumbing up so you can have a short tubing run from the pump to a valve. This is easy to add to the tube FROM the pump with a tee. When you change bottles, open this valve into an empty bottle until the pump is making a low rumble and water is flowing smoothly into the empty bottle. Typically it only takes 10 seconds or so. Close the valve and the pump should shut off. The pump is now primed and ready. I've had mine for 6 months, and so far so good. It feeds an espresso machine, ice maker, and faucet.

So far so good, product working amazing and is not as loud as what everyone making it seems. I used everything that came in the packaged and used gravity to my advantage. It did took a while for the system to prime and start pumping water but will update if anything goes bad UPDATE : it’s almost been a month and the system is doing amazing. Have no issues or hiccups. Fridge is dispersing water and ice freezes. I’m not the person to write reviews but this product rocks and I love it

Works well. Getting the job done

We use this for our fridge to dispense water using 5 gal purified water as we do not want to connect the fridge to the main. The pump is powerful enough. It is a nice gadget to have. I wish it lasted a little longer though. I purchased this in October of 2022. It now has stopped working. I guess you get what you paid for.

I have had this unit since November 2023 and installed it in February 2024. I am using it to provide water to a second side by side fridge water and ice dispenser. It's now May 2025 and the unit is failing. I've used only purified bottled water with it. Now when it gets near the bottom of the bottles of water it continually loses its prime. The level of the water where it does this is getting higher and higher indicating the pump is worn out. We're at 2 inches in each bottle now and I don't expect the unit to last much longer. Also, there appears to be some kind of screw at the end of the first bottle pickup that is rusting. That's so not good. Great idea but not so good quality/durability. I would have expected a life span of a lot more than a year and a few months for something like this.

just a good item, good price, works good, the only bad thing could be the noise but its nothing you would hear from another room

The product did not work as advertised and required that I take it apart to fix a kink in the hose. Giant pain but now it works fine.
