The flashers appear pretty good quality. All seem to work well. I opted for good 10year long life batteries for storage. Hope I never have to use them but piece of mind for family travelling at night

Just as essential as a first aid kit and a portable tire inflation kit, and if you live in the northern states (like me) a ice scraper with brush! Super rugged! I deliberately threw one of these down on the concrete floor in my garage (I didn't baby it, I chucked it pretty hard) and despite the minor scuff mark, it didn't crack or break and worked like a champ! Bright lights! The LED lights are very bright, you can easily see them in daylight from quite a distance. I also like the fact that you have a choice of several flashing modes just by pressing the button. Need a flashlight? These also come with 3 LED bright white lights built in, just double press the button. Place them on the ground or use the strong magnet on the back to attach them to your car. They also have a pull out plastic hanger if you prefer not to use the magnets and want to hang them on something. Easy to store in your vehicle with the included zippered case. I like the fact that the flares (and case) are bright orange so they are easy to find if you have a "busy" trunk or have them tucked away in the back of your SUV. Someone put a lot of thought into these when they were designed, they really covered the bases! I highly recommend these. Not only are they great for all the reasons above, they're an excellent value. You simply can't go wrong with these!

Bought these in 2021, used them a handful of times. Was glad to have them when I needed them. Nonetheless, I'm moving on. Some things to know: 1. It takes a headlamp to use these lights in the dark. You'll forget how they work, and in an emergency, you'll be trying to turn them on every way you can think of - pushing on them all over, twisting them, hoping that profanity will magically activate them. That's because the button is flush with the body and the same color and material. You can only detect the button in direct light, and if it's raining, or if you're wearing gloves, might as well give up hope. Ask me how I know. 😅 2. They're not bright enough to be seen in daytime. My truck engine blew up in a middle lane at a traffic light during rush hour. I put these on the back to let people know they should change lanes. Cars rolled right up to my bumper anyway because they couldn't see that I was disabled. Not helpful. 3. The waterproofing gaskets melt. No big deal until it's time to change the batteries, at which time I broke 50% of the lights trying to pry them open again. To be fair, they were stored in a tool box in Texas heat reaching 110 F sometimes. I taped them together after breaking them and they still worked. 4. The magnets are glued in. By year two, about of the third of the magnets had fallen off. By year four, only one still has the magnet. They have hooks, but it's not so awesome if you primarily plan to attach them with magnets. I replaced my set with an amber turret light, but it cost literally three times the money. I guess your choice depends on what kind of an emergency you're planning for and whether you plan to keep them long-term or not.
