My pump stopped working. I already tried cleaning it. how do i get a new pump?

The pump will fail if it runs dry. (2)Unplug the fountain then plug it back in. (3)If the motor is humming, try cleaning the motor, making sure nothing is stuck around the impeller.You can also change the foam filter.If the motor is not humming, try replacing the pump. I confused that should the pet fountain be kept running at all times, or is it ok to switch it off from time to time, e.g, when the cats are nappinh?

Hi, for my opinion, I recommend leaving the metal cat fountain running at all times so the filter is continually flushed with fresh water. If it is left off for long periods it is possible for mould to grow on the damp filter, this will not happen if it is left running. Don't be concerned about the cost as it only consumes around 1.5W, so will cost only around 7p per day to run.

Is it easy to be cleaned?

Sure! It is made of total 304 stainless steel and all the parts can be separated. It is super easy to clean and dishwasher safe.

How often should I replace the filter?

Because the filter can not only purify and improve the taste of water but also filter the hair or food residues everyday to prevent these garbage blocking the pump's water outlet.
