Perfect for laptop that doesn’t have enough ports
LOVE THIS. bought it because my work laptop doesn’t have enough ports for all of the monitors that I need. I plug two monitors, a keyboard, a mouse, and an Ethernet cable into it. It also charges my laptop. I’ve been using it with zero issues for over a year now. It’s a bit pricey, but worth it if you work from home and use it every day.

Using either my windows and Mac laptop!
This thing worked very well for my two laptop setup. I use a MacBook Air M2 and a HP Victus, for awesome compatibility. I can connect either and have 2 external monitors (plus my laptop screen), the connectivity is great. Setup was easy, download drivers and plug her in! This thing charges either of my laptops which is so nice. Lots of ports available, so I don’t have to worry about port compatibility on my laptops.

It died in a month!
I am dissapointed with this dock. It had a short and no longer works. I have tried leaving it unplugged for several hours. I bought this to replace my D3100 i accidently bought because this D6000 will charge the laptop as well. Now i am out over $200 and no dock.

Docking Station for Dell Inspiron 3520 Laptop Works Well
This docking station accommodates a maximum of two external monitors with my Dell Inspiron 3520 laptop, in addition to the laptop screen. Overall, it works well, & the addition of additional monitors is why I purchased it.

Triple display with Windows on Lenovo T-460 and T-490 series laptops
When working from home, my workflow requires the use of 4 large monitors. The Dell D6000s Universal docking works well out of the box. I can connect 3 monitors with just one USB-C connector to my Lenovo work laptops, and the 4th monitor via the laptop’s HDMI port. Note: The docking station has 2 DisplayPort connections and 1 HDMI connection. I’ve been using this docking station for over 4 years now, typically 10-12 hours a day 6 days a week, and it’s been a solid performer. For reference the monitors I use are LG 32” and Acer 27” displays, and the docking station handles them consistently and reliably.

Excellent universal dock, but not for gaming
I debated if I should have given this a 5-star review because as far as I can tell, Dell does not seem to be responsible for the DisplayLink drivers that are needed for this device on Windows PC's. Long story short: Works flawlessly with 2 4K monitors @60Hz and a bunch of USB's connected. Yes, you must ensure your PC is just as capable. I would say a minimum of Thunderbolt v3 USB-C port is needed. My PC has Thunderbolt v4, so... My only regret is that your gaming experience suffers because the DisplayLink drivers do not support DirectX 12 Ultimate, no matter how many graphic cards your PC has. If you plan on gaming, better be lightweight, non-demanding games. Well, maybe I exaggerate. I did play a lot of Age of Empires IV in 4K with no mayor issues. Still, not the best experience now that I have bypassed the dock with direct HDMI and DisplayPort cables direct to my PC. The difference is notable for sure. So there. Summary: Excellent dock; avoid if you are setting up a gaming environment.

Works well for my M1 mac. I've got a USB hub plugged into it as well, so currently have: * Monitor * Keyboard * Mouse * Microphone * Webcam * USB soundcard -> speakers ...plugged in and working fine. It also removes the need for the power cable to be plugged into the mac, so instead of 4 separate cables, I just have 1 cable running out of the MacBook now, which is nice and tidy. It's expensive, but if you can claim it as a work expense, it's definitely worth it!

This is a must have device if you want to use multiple monitors(upto 3) with mac as well as windows. It even works with laptops having usb 2.0. Stop spending on USB hubs and other connectors.. This device is one stop solution for all connectivity requirements... FYI- You need to install the displayLink application from dell website.. I am using it with mac m1 and 2018 lenovo laptop.. It is also charging my mac while my lenovo laptop does not support usb charging.. So don't go by negative reviews.. They might not have installed the displayLink software.. And if your laptop is not charging then your laptop does not support usb charging...
