Sure some of the fight scenes look like they were arranged before the rest of the film was shot or maybe they were reshot. Yelena was a joy and I think Florance Pugh is a star on the rise. More so unlike her sister she has kept the russian accent which Johansson seem to have lost after Avengers assemble. I think where the film falls short is in failing to develope the red guardian rather than have Harbours character who starts out as a competent agent and turns him into the butt of the jokes and certainly underused the acting talents of Weisz. Still fast paced, lots of action and less woke than most of the phase 4 garbage they spewed out this year.

If you love her, the marvels, and Lucy you will not be disappointed, very strong entertaining characters. Especially for an all women lead cast mostly. If the story and content was more it would had got a 5 star. Mostly action packed and keeps you glued to the screen.

I ordered a English, Japanese and France DVD but I got a English, France and Spanish DVD. I want to hear Akio Otsuka voice act the roll of the father in Japanese. It was still a good movie.

One of the best solo marvel movies that has been made after Endgame. Yes, the story was meant to be before Infinity War and Endgame but even still. The visuals in the movie were absolutely stunning and Scarlett Johansson and Florence Pugh both outperformed themselves in this movie. Granted David Harbour and Rachel Weisz did do an amazing job too, but not to the extent Scarlett and Florence did. SPOLIERS** The only thing that really bugged me in the movie was the obvious green/blue screen at the end when Yelena went to go blow up the aircraft Dreykov was on. Like could we have spent a little more time editing and maybe putting in some money and making it less obvious 😭😭 But anyway, this movie is amazing and is a must buy if you like Black Widow and want to know more about her past!
