Can this swing seat be kept outdoors, is it sturdy if placed in grass

Yes, we've had ours outdoors since we purchased it. We sprayed it with Scotch Guard first. It has endured sprinklers while on the lawn then on the patio, 105°+ temperatures in the sun and rain during the winter. My grandchildren swing on it often.

After 1 year of use, our swing seat material ripped. Can we purchase a replacement?

I'm sorry to hear that. It might be more economical to just purchase a new swing. Fortunately ours is still in good shape

What is the max weight for the swing?

I don't know the max weight but my sister which is 131 lbs & my son is 28lbs we're both on it & it held both of them just fine.

Can you put a ten year old on it ?

My 9 and 11 year old sit on it, though they are a little small for the age. As long as they aren’t wild on it it will work fine. I’d say the prime age for this is 1 or 2 - 7 years old.
