What i am see this products is nothing wrong with itself box of 4k media player "mypin" special for AD. But some issues is Resolution video had go terminal commands to adjustable to fit your TV. I read manual say machine automatically detect and adapts to be the TV Resolution. If your TV is not "4K60HZ, the 4k option will not appear in the player's Resolution option. See if you wanna fit your TV which not appear Resolution option then go terminal commands fix yourself to adjustable to fit to be not active of Not in option It will little off Resolution quality . If you knew how it performs will function for other Resolution option by your own type in terminal commands. Other than that speed upload in apps VLC it little slow upload but it no problem VLC . Wanna little speed up uploading video from usb memories card or SD card then check what speed sd memories card or USB memories card if still little slow then go in terminal commands to fix yourself add little speed up the upload ! Type your own mental fit Resolution/speed upload even more always test in terminal commands to feel fit of comfortable vibe run system with your mental. This all is point at system may need adjustable by your own hand type in terminal commands to run your fit of any need of required. System nothing wrong . Just reasonable if little issues then go terminal commands to change the measurements of any to be fit in own options and more. Be safe. Nothing more. For the price, I was expecting a dedicated media player, like the WD Live. My media content is exclusively via LAN connected NAS storage. I cannot speak to using this with USB attached local storage. What I got was a (Android based?) terribly slow mini-PC (micro-controller?), with Android apps installed. The two media player apps are VLC and Kodi. Neither work correctly, and when trying to play a movie, there's no AC3 pass-through, and crashes the "player" all the time. Any media formats that this "media player" plays are a function of the app, not the player itself. The implementation of networking with Kodi just doesn't work. Avoid this player if you're relying on networked LAN content..

Easy to record youtube videos and play on smart TV. Very well made and easy to use

The first thing I noticed was the size of this media player which is a bit bigger than others I have used (The remote that it comes with is 5 1/2 inches for reference), however it is light weight. The specs say it can play up to 8TB hard drive but it plays my 20TB Western Digital just fine which is really nice not having to transfer files to smaller hard drives. The remote strength is pretty good as long as you have the blue light on the device facing you, otherwise if you plan on vertically mounting to a wall the remote strength can be a little intermittent. Really good product, didnt give 5 stars because of the remote strength thing but its easy to get around.

Finally a video player that easily plays all video formats. I’ve been so frustrated buying other players that claim to play them all but they don’t so it’s nice to finally get one that does actually work the way they say it does - so completely satisfied with this and for a great price!

I read the reviews before purchasing this unit and was surprised by the number of negative comments claiming it cannot fast forward. That’s not true! It can fast forward. While playing a video, press the down arrow on the remote—this brings up an options bar at the bottom of the screen. Then, simply press the right arrow to fast forward. Very simple! So far, the device has played every movie file I have—from 720p to 1080p to 4K—flawlessly from my hard drives. Just make sure to use a High-Speed or Ultra High Speed HDMI cable (4K or 8K certified) to get the best picture and sound performance. I'm very happy with this unit. In fact, it performs much better than my Sony UBP-X700 Blu-ray player, which claims to support all 4K formats (both audio and video), but in my experience, it doesn’t deliver as promised.

Cet appareil fonctionne bien pour les fichiers vidéo. Il est rapide et la lecture est fluide. Il y a 3 choses que j'aime moins sur ce produit: 1- L'avance rapide est très peu conviviale et il est très facile que l'appareil change involontairement de vidéo plutot que d'avancer au moment que vous souhaitez voir. 2- Le choix des langages n'est pas identifié. On ne voit pas s'il s'agit d'anglais, de français d'espagnol ou autre et il faut procéder par essai-erreur pour trouver le langage désiré. 3- On ne peut pas choisir une langue par défaut. Dès qu'on ouvre un fichier vidéo, il faut retourner dans la sélection de langue et de sous-titres. Édit: 4- La télécommande est fragile et ne répond plus après quelques mois. Le produit vient de passer de 4 à 1 étoile.

Have a external hard drive that couldn't be read on anything other than a computer so we got this and it works on our TV now lol

I must say that I've looked around at posts and looked for many alternative products to eventually replace my WD Live Player but there haven't been any clear answers and I was very skeptical about trying something to connect my 4 - 10TB drives to with my downloaded movies, TV series, etc. I haven't fully explored this system yet, but did connect one of my drives to try it out and it worked quite well! I like the fact there are 4 USB ports and with one of them that can be connected to a wireless mouse for controlling, fast forwarding and pretty much any other function. The number of ports available to me was super important due to number of drives I have connected, but the wireless mouse is a bonus for sure. In addition to all this, one of the things I don't like is that there's no fast forward/rewind\, zoom button on the remote compared to the WD Remote. While I'm still exploring this new Media Player and trying to learn about it's features, I'll revise my rating and review later if necessary. The interphase is definitely not as user friendly on this player but it does handle a 10tb with no issues. That was an initial concern as well but there doesn't seem to be any issue at all and while I might upgrade a couple of drives to 12TB, I don't think this will also be any problem either.
