Bought these to build up some strength ,completely new to this and now in my 60s ,but I used to do heavy manual work years ago ,but the muscles have now gone ,I bought the heavier set ,hoping I’ll be able to use them later ( but after loading them up I doubt it lol). Quality is great ,good finish on cast iron weights and good chrome on bars ,with a hand grip in centre of each dumbbell bar ,feels good in the hand and solid. These look so small ,but when loaded up, feels compact and comfortable but boy do you feel the weight.Easy to spin off the nuts to change weights. Limited use so far,but nothing came loose or fell off, I consider this a good value for money set.

Very happy with this set. The quality is good and value reasonable. The grips are decent and after a few months of use, there's no sign of wear in any way. With a single weight on each side, the lock ring holds very well, and I just need to give it a quick check every few uses, just to be sure. With more than one weight each side, the lock ring needs tightening often, but it's not really a major issue to do that, so no big drama I don't think. Oh, I noted some reviews of similar products mentioned a smell - I'm happy to report that these don't smell, so I guess they are well suited to the (corner of) the living room... I'd definitely recommend this set!

Excellent weights! Don’t take up much space and provide such versatility. I highly recommend buying these if you’re after doing some home workouts

pleasantly surprised in all honesty, bought it to use as i can’t always get to the gym after work and thought they might just do the job, but after receiving them i can say they are great and much better than expected for the price. easy to store and to adjust although drop sets can be on the trickier side it is do able and parts when tightened are properly are sturdy and not loose at all. I would recommend for a beginner, but obviously this would be a gym replacement more of an addition for home work if you will.

High quality cast iron. Beautiful weight plates. Heavy and feels good to use. Did have a slight problem with the handles but contacted seller and they resolved the issue immediately. Good product and good seller.

The Dumbells themselves are a decent quality - especially when considering the price paid (less than £100). The weights are genuine cast iron with no funny feeling or smells to them. They also stand up well in usage and after a couple of weeks of daily usage there is no signs of wear on them whatsoever. The grips are solid and the whole set does seem to be a decent quality. The barbell is a nice addition and works fine. The only drawback is the locking mechanism which expectedly loosens very easily when putting the dumbells/barbell down on the floor. This is to be expected with the price and as long as you ensure they are tight before a set you should be fine. The rubber does come out of the nut which is annoying, but it's not deserving of removing a star over. Very happy with these for the price!

This combo weights set has been one of my best buys on Amazon. I am super impressed with the quality & versatility of this product. I have a small multifunction room that I want to do some fitness training in. The ability to lock the dumbbells together with the connecting bar is a fantastic space saver that means I can now have the functionality of both types of bar in my room. I don't think the design is unique, but the quality is what really impressed me. It is very sturdy & secure, & it wouldn't look or feel out of place if it were to be in any decent gym. It was a tiny bit fiddly to attach all the bars together when I had weights on both sides of the dumbbells. However, I can't see how it could have been designed differently & it is such a minor niggle that I wouldn't take a star off for it. If they did want to make it any better, the only thing that would have been great would be to have some heavier weights available. I'd highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a compact, versatile, weight training solution.
