This is the exact string that was used by telephone company techs to pull cables back in the day. It is super strong, and proper knots don't slip. The wax keeps the string tight without fraying. I use it while fishing wires, and it far exceeds other lines I've tried.

Great product

When I worked for the Telephone company from the 80's to 2000, this string was used to sew down cables inside the central offices where all the switching equipment was located. Over the years, I have used it for all sorts of purposes, string bean growing lines, hanging things up,and tying up many things. Most recently, after putting foam pipe wrap on exposed pipes and then wrapping cardboard around that, (the cardboard keeps the sun from rotting the pipe foam insulation), tying the cardboard with this string. This is replaced every 7 years as the cardboard finally falls apart. Long way around the barn....after 7 years, the last string was still very strong and not rotted at all. It has increased in price but if you need a string that is super strong and tough, it's worth the money spent!
