Good quality hose

I needed a short hose that is dependable, as I hooked up a water filter to my RV, we live in it full-time. I need a hose to go from the city water to the outside filter, then Into my RV. The hose is for drinking water I hooked it up, and It did not leak as that is a goal and even a drip is not acceptable. No issues with this hose. I recommend this.

I was looking for a short hose to put between a faucet and the control center for my irrigation system (connectors, timers) so I can place the connectors on a stand which is easier for me to reach. Photo of my set up attached under customer photos. Turns out it is difficult to find a short water hose. Even though I don't need a water hose rated for drinking water this hose was the right length and I got it. Overall it works fine: the length is good and it handles my high water pressure fine. However, the connector to the faucet is plastic and even with a brand new washer and Teflon tape I have a small leak. Nothing major but you can see in the photo that the mulch under that connection is dark - it is always a bit wet. I don't have any other connections that leaks so I know how to make good connections with the aid of Teflon tape. The long hose with a metal connector that was used on this faucet before did not leak, so the problem is with this particular plastic connector. This hose is not totally perfect, but it has been at work for a few weeks and overall I am pleased with it. Ali Julia review

My hardware store had the brand I wanted to buy then when I went back they changed it so I ordered through the company that was on the hose I don't remember the name right now I locked the hose I got because of the 10-year warranty on it. Hardware store has a coupon only last 30 days definitely like the 10-year warranty better it's still better stronger if it didn't look great good to go.

My setup is as follows. I think the filter should go as close to the RV city water inlet. The reasoning is that the hoses may harbor mold, bacteria, whatever. So, At the water faucet I connect a pressure reducer, then a wye adapter - this allows a second hose, then a 25 ft hose - of I need a longer hose, I attach a second 25 ft hose, then a filter, then the hose in this listing - this gets me into my wet bay, it is nice to have one, then a 90 degree fitting, and that screws into the city water inlet. This short hose is perfect. If you don't have a wet bay you can attach the filter directly to the 90 degree fitting or still the above house or even a short 6 inch stress relieving hose. At the faucet end I might use a 90 degree fitting depending on the exit angle of the faucet. My idea is to have the hoses be vertical rather than attach horizontal. Some folks use quick releases at every join. I haven't, so far. The biggest question is if your water pressure hurt by the ½ diameter of this hose. I've gone ½ inch diameter for my entire setup and pressure inside seems fine. I typically don't have multiple faucets, shower, external shower or toilet running at the same time. I do like that the ½ hoses coil into small lightweight bundles.

Good short hose. Needed for after my portable water softener. Got quick connects on it. Super easy to set up.
