Perfect lenght blade for my Golden Retriever. Yes, the cut looks short for the first few days. But after that it looks absolutely perfect. The 5FC leaves his hair 1/4 in length, though it appears shorter. The Ultra Edge is carburized steel and is advertised to last longer and resist rust. The CeramicEdge is advertised to stay 75% cooler. The ShowEdge is advertised to have a revolutionary tooth design to produce a show quality finish. If I were to purchase another blade, I would purchase the CeramicEdge to obtain the cooler effect. When the UltaEdge warms up, it gets very hot. Don't get me wrong, it's easy to cool off with the Cool Care Plus spray. Very easy.

Cuts really well !! Seems to be good quality

Cuts smoothly on fur that isn't real thick and curly. It cuts a nice length but is difficult to use on thicker fur. I have 2 Airedales and it was difficult to use on the area around their neck.

The UltraEdge blade works great and keeps an edge through out many cuts. I had originally bought the ceramic ultraedge, which in my opinion was junk. Yes, the ceramic edge stays cooler longer than this blade, however the ceramic blade does not sharpen as well as this blade and the ceramic blade requires a different sharpening tool. This blade doesn't rust and it's easy to clean up with just a an old tooth brush and a cloth. I would definitely buy this product again

I bought this blade for clipping my Affenpinscher/Miniature Schnauzer mix. It was recommended by a professional dog groomer to have this size blade to trim my dog during the winter months. Otherwise, I use a 7FC during Spring, Summer, and Fall months...getting her coat a little closer, but not too short. The #10 with attachments just didn't do the trick. However, getting the appropriate blade works perfectly. When purchasing these blades, make sure you buy the "finished cut" type, thus named "FC". Otherwise, the basic #blade will give you a rougher cut...not a smooth finish to the coat like most dog owners want. I absolutely love the easy changeability of these type blades. What else is nice...they are compatible with the Oster brand trimmer as well (although I have an Andis and recommend it...quiet and well made, also recommended by a professional groomer). You won't find a better price for these blades than ordering them from Amazon.com. I have checked many sites and stores. Bottom line...great product!!!

At over $100 Canadian for our golden retriever to get hair cuts, this item has payed for itself after the first use. Cut the fogs hair at least 5 time, blade is still ok but starting to get dull… but even with having to buy a new one, the savings are great. A bit of practice to get to cut air but not that hard to learn

Initially had a little hiccup with despatch but seller resolved quickly and honestly. The blade is very good and makes short work of my cocker spaniel's coat and is more than upto the job when using on my miniature poodle's dense, curly coat. As I already stated this seller is very honest and I would highly recommend that anyone purchasing grooming equipment should use these guys.

The blade fits well and cuts well and as expected. I would highly recommend this product as their blades are excellent.
