Great IEM for the money!
For a basic and reliable in ear monitor this is a great performer. I'm the drummer of my church's worship team, and I'm positioned behind the speakers on the stage. Depending on who was leading I would often have trouble hearing either the guitar or the vocals making it difficult for me to follow along. So I decided to look into a simple IEM system for myself and came across this. We use several wireless mics as well as UHF wireless connections between the guitars and amps, and I still managed to find a few channels I can use this IEM on without any interference. The volume range is great for all levels of hearing health from those who need a hearing aid to those hear the conversations of the mice in their neighbor's attic. It's also really nice to have an aux in port for input audio as well as the mix from the soundboard. This way I was able to plug a line from my Alesis e-kit's headphone jack to the aux in port and adjust my own mix between the two with my headphone out volume knob. Sound quality is probably on par with mp3, but for my purposes this was fine. It would be nice if there was a battery meter, but I was able to get roughly 30hrs of use out of some Energizer AA's. I just got some high capacity rechargable li-ion batteries for it and I expect to get at least double the time out of a charge. It would also be nice if there was a volume knob instead of vol up and down buttons for more fine control, but that can also just be adjusted at the board. I also use the swinging battery door as a holder for my headphones (I have the receiver mounted), so I find that convenient. All around worth the money for my needs.

very impressed with the unit
i bought this to replace my $1200 Lectrosonics that fell into the white space abyss. shipped fast, everything in the box.... rack ears, 1/4 cables, etc... ( i won't use the IEM earpieces, i have Westones, but impressed with fact they came with extra pads AND the CLIP that holds the wire to the back of your shirt... i'll use them .. ) yes, the audio out is MONO from the receiver ...but for me i am using left in for the monitor send from the board and right in for "more me vocal" ...it sums to the receiver as a mono signal .the base unit has 1/4 or xlr in, with adjustable level, simple set up ..pick a channel.... ( the front base headphone jack is stereo FYI.... ( i could see a use for that if i ever needed to plug wired headphones direct in .like when i am at my stand up pedal steel... or a keyboard... )... on the receiver...simple set up..pick a channel, plug in the IEM and set the volume. (well after you inserted 2 AA batteries and pushed the power button ) ... if this thing is not loud enough for you, then either your IEM's have a very high impedance or you really need a hearing aid. cause this thing will blow your head off with volume..... you adjust the volume under the lid with the up/dn buttons... the channel change is next to them... you could change channel if you hit the wrong button, but then you could turn it off if you pushed the power button... so i don't see that a reason to lessen its value. after the 1st note of the 1st song my stage volume is set... the 2nd output aux jack is handy if you ever wanted to use this for something like setting up an extension speaker or feed a powered monitor... i have in the past used my 2nd IEM receiver for that, albeit you could also use the regular output... but i see why it was included... i find the sound quality very good and the most important noise floor very low... no nasty bad hiss ( like my old old listen technology system ) . the squelch is factory set, but in testing i have pulled the power to the base transmitter and the receivers mute instantly... no whoosh of noise first.. and the system came back on channel and playing like nothing ever happened. for me, very pleased, very good price... in the 500mhz band that should stay around for a few years more and rugged looking... metal base unit, same plastic type receiver cases that sennheiser, shure and listen use after the design went to the 3v systems from the old days of 9v ...so hard to knock them for keeping the weight down... i scribbled down the chan frequencies i can only speak for me... but well worth the price.

Good product
The system does work well. I needed to tweak the sound levels to avoid overdrive but the sound is clear. However, I needed to use my own headphones, a KZ brand, and the sound was much better.

Nice and sturdy unit
This unit is very nice and a great value. Setup was pretty easy although the instructions were wrong on where the power button was for the body pack. Once I got that figured out everything synced up correctly and my in-ears were working well. Sound quality is really good and I haven't experienced any dropouts. Range seems solid as well. The base unit seems very sturdy and I expect (hope!) it stands the test of time. The body pack is mainly plastic but will probably last as long as I'm not rough on it. Overall, I think this is a winner. For the price, it's a great value!

Ok for tight budget
I tried this product, because my band mates were using it and were fairly happy with it. note: By time of this review, 1 of my guitarist had already sent his unit back for the same reasons below. This is by far the cheapest wireless headphone monitor on the market. As a drummer, I have just been running my in-ears into a headphone amp, i.e. hard wired. I thought it would be cool to go wireless, and the freedom is nice. The ear buds included with the product are essentially toys and are throwaway quality. The unit itself is reasonable quality although the receiver is very cheap and plastic feeling. The lack of a volume knob on the receiver is maddening and a deal-breaker. I'm use to being able to drum with one hand and make an adjustment in a song if needed. This receiver requires you to remove it from the belt, open the front panel, and use a plus or minus button--too much trouble to try to do with one hand. Furthermore sound quality was harsh. I suspect this is because I've been listening to a hard wired analog amp and going to what is essentially an MP3 quality sounds sent digitally. Finally it is not stereo although there are 2 imputs. In summary I would've sent this unit back, but I waited too long. There is a reason why professional grade units are $800 and up, and this one is only a little over $100. For musicians on a budget want to try wireless unit this one works reasonably well with the above caveats, however it did not meet my expectations for sound quality and ease of use.

The overall build quality of the product is really good. However, I experienced radio interference in 3 different venues. I have tried all possible combinations of all the available channels, but the result remained the same. Also, there is a weird compression of the sound which is very distracting. Tried with different earphones (from 100 to 800 US$), but the results remained the same. Compared to other similarly priced units, the sound quality of the unit is not good.
