I have analog covers on all my controllers. Steam Deck, PS4, PS5, Xbox, Backbone. I’ve tried quite a few different varieties over the years. Personally what I’ve always wanted to see is a soft silicone. I actually did find something similar to that once, but they didn’t stay on very good. The reason I always use analog covers is to keep the analog sticks in good condition. I don’t want to have to replace the analog sticks, and I don’t want to have to replace controllers every few months. Which is what I used to do. I used to collect custom controllers. So keeping them in good condition was important. I quit collecting controllers when they came out with the Elite controllers. Point is, I have a lot more experience than the average gamer. I’ve been gaming with controllers since the mid 80’s. The fact I’m older, and my hands are mildly arthritic, means I actually need the most comfortable controller possible. Recently the bumper on my Elite broke and I had to go back to an ordinary Xbox controller. I’ve been using the CQC Rush analog covers for a couple years now on PS5 controllers and I absolutely love them. Do they wear fairly quickly, yes. But that doesn’t mean they’re ready to throw away. Just because the contours are worn down, doesn’t make them junk. I actually like them even more like that. The further you wear them down, the softer the material gets, and I like that. I mean, I just really like the design of these. The way they have an opening for your thumb in one spot, but are raised on the edges to prevent your thumb from slipping off. They’re not too high. I don’t like analog covers that raise the height of the standard analog height by too much. These ones are just barely an increase in height. I’ve never really ever had them spin on me. They stay nice and tight, when used on analog sticks that are in good condition to begin with. Honestly, I just really like these, and I typically don’t give out 5 star ratings unless a product is truly exceptional, and I believe these actually deserve the 5 stars. The price could be better. They’re more expensive than they need to be, in my opinion. They should be $5 cheaper.

After giving this a try for a month I figured I'd help out and write a review on these. First I want to note that, IMO, These are fantastic for FPS and 3PS. The midrise gives these a decent height to where your thumb can sit comfortably. They do work as advertised. This was my initial setup and it felt great!

I recently tried out a pair of Control Freaks, and they were absolutely fantastic. The grips felt solid and comfortable right from the start, providing a noticeable improvement in control and precision. I opted for the medium-high height, and it was the perfect balance—not too high to feel awkward, but just enough to improve my range of motion and accuracy. The textured surface was especially impressive. It offered a firm, non-slip feel that held up even during intense gaming sessions. Whether it was aiming in FPS games or making fine-tuned movements in other genres, these grips performed exceptionally well and enhanced my overall experience. The only downside is that after about six months of use, the grips began to show signs of wear and tear. While this might be expected with frequent use, it was a bit disappointing considering how great they felt initially. Despite this, I still believe they are worth it for the immediate improvement they bring to gameplay. Overall, it’s a great product that I’d recommend to anyone looking to enhance their gaming experience. Just keep in mind that you may need to replace them after extended use. Rating: 4/5

My go to for my left stick. Doesn't slow your movement in sports game and shooters, but helps with grip

I love the way this style grips my thumb. I use it on my left joystick for movement. However, one of them has broken already. The white rubber separated and ripped off the hard plastic joystick piece. I mostly play Apex Legends and other FPS game and was looking for a comfortable control freak for the left stick. On the right joystick, I use a raised control freak and that one has held up longer than the left. I loved it at first, but I will be seeking a different product in the future.

I am so happy and satisfied with my purchase. They fit perfectly on my xbox one controller and fit perfectly in my hand for gaming. Would definitely purchase it again and recommend it to others.

My teen really likes these. They help with comfort and improves his gaming performance. They have withstood rigorous use for the past year. He has not complained about any problems with their functionality nor popping off on his Xbox controller.

Non offre molta altezza superiore, ma ha un grip eccezionale, comodissimo, non scivola mai, e il fatto che sia leggermente rialzato non ostacola minimamente l uso dei tasti. Va bene per qualunque tipo di gioco, molti lo usano per fps frenetici. Io sono più da rpg single player. Passato un po' inosservato ed è un peccato
