FiiO New K3 Amplifier Headphone Amp Portable High Resolution 384kHz/32bit DSD256 USB Type-C for PC/Smartphone Home Audio

Until recently, getting high quality out of my phone has been complicated. Now with Apple moving to USB-C, its much easier to plug and play and lot of equipment. I bought the K3 to give me a high quality feed for my headphones and to get optical out to my HiFi. It does both very well, is very small so easy to carry around looks great. Feels very nicely made and most importantly, the sound quality is excellent. Really really excellent device and I am very happy with it.

I purchased this headphone amp and DAC for use in the large shared office, and I like that it is small and fits nicely into both my laptop bag and locker. Using with Fiio IEMs for a pleasant sounding experience while drowning out the ambient noise. I do wish Fiio made a travel case for the K3.

Been using the Fioo K3 for a few months now and it's been good. Upgraded from a Fioo e10k for the balanced output and it's worked pretty much as expected. I use Windows computers and it's simply plug and play. It drives senheisser hd650 using a balanced cable well enough, the only minor struggle I have experienced is when using custom sound equaliser profiles with headphones like the Beryadynamic dt770 (80ohm) it's still plenty loud but sometimes I have to add a little pre-amp through additional software to get to audio levels of my liking, which may hurt the audio quality just a teeny bit. With default eq settings its fine. In short though if you are using your headphones stock or with a balanced audio cable this thing is really good.

Compared to old headphone amplifiers that I have owned. This is very quiet and honestly doesn't feel like much of a difference.

Great performance as a headphone amp. A bit less great as a DAC, which is the main way I use it. Could do with driving the amp better, with more power. However can not fault it at the price !

I was using a BTR5 as my PCs amp, but was having some issues with it "running out of battery" even while plugged in. This has solved all my issues and more. It sounds fantastic out of its balanced jack. The digital output is an added bonus!

It's well built and the 1.0 sound works but 2.0 mode only works once you install the drivers and there are no drivers for any Linux distros so it just doesn't work in that mode. It's very small which is great but I can't say that it's portable since it requires power to function and doesn't have its own battery. I like the analogue wheel for volume, it's built really well. If you have a windows machine you'll get to use it fully but I can't so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Edit: So, I've used it for a day and its really good. Still can't use 2.0 mode but 1.0 mode still sounds pretty good and loud. I have used it as a portable DAC with my phone and it doesn't drain nearly as much battery as I thought (Although it is a mess in my pockets with all the cables). Last thing and I don't know if I need to blame FiiO or Windows but the drivers broke my dual boot windows drive. Blue screens every once in a while and the FiiO device doesn't work on it at all. Windows just doesn't pick it up so I don't know if a Windows user can ever get a good experience at all because this is a pretty fatal issue and I'll probably have to reinstall the OS.

K3 telefondan alıyor gücü benim telefonun 5000 mah lık batarayası var iki yıllık ve baya yıpranmış bir bataryadır. Güç harcama olarakta saatlik k3 kullanımında %14 götürüyor. Yalnız cep telefonunda kullanılacaksa 1.0 modunda bilgisayarda kullanılacaksa sürücü yükleyip 2.0 modunda kullanılmalı. Uzun yolculuklarda ya da bir bankta otururken veya yürüyüş yaparken, boş zamanlarınızda müzik dinlemekten hoşlanıyorsanız ve bunu hep yapıyorsanız güzel bir hobiniz var demektir. Müzik dinleme hobinizi daha kaliteli hale getirin. Markası ne olursa olsun ucuz kulaklıklarla dinlediğiniz parçaların aslında sırf gürültü olduğunu hayretler içinde görün. Daha kaliteli müzik dinlemenin gerekliliklerini yerine getirin. K3'ü veya çıkış gücü uygun başka bir kulaklık amfisi alın. K3 özelinde söylüyorum bir Audio technica'nın m50x'ini ya da beyerdynamic'in 770 pro 80 ohm'luk kulaklılarını alın. O dinlediğiniz parçaları bir daha dinleyin çok mutlu olacaksınız. Yalnız ben daha çok istiyorum, daha geniş sahne, daha ayrıntılı midler istiyorum falan diye düşünmeye başlarsanız yandınız odyofil dünyasına ya da hastalığına hoş geldiniz. Onun da maliyet olarak üst sınırı yok satarsınız bağı, bahçeyi gene de yetmez.

Debo empezar aclarando que no soy ningún experto en audio ni tengo el mejor equipo, compre este DAC para usarlo en una Mac M1 con Apple Music y unos Beats Solo 3 y vaya que la calidad de audio mejora considerablemente, se aprecian más detalles en las canciones, incluso aquellas a 16 Bits, el Dolby Atmos se escucha espectacular. Desde mi perspectiva me parece que Tidal se escucha mejor sin embargo me parece caro el servicio por lo que me quedo con Apple Music. El sistema reconoce automáticamente la conexión usb 2 sin instalar ningún driver, la única configuración que realice fue cambiar el formato de salida a 32 bits / 384 Khz

This was a bit confusing to use, honestly, but I've seen online that this is a good value amplifier for people looking to get into having higher quality headphones-- and I'd agree. I got this to pair with Sennheiser 620S and the sound is honestly really good :) It definitely makes a different if you have an amplifier.
