Absolutely fantastic!!!! I shower in the dark as it’s more relaxing than big bright lights so we have gone for these to try mood lighting. On ‘white’ these are very bright and really happy. I’ve linked the 4 spotlights to Alexa individually and as a group so o can change all lights to a colour or individual ones on/ off to control brightness. I was nervous as there were some mixed reviews but honestly these are amazing! My other half nearly choked on his cuppa when I said I spent £22 on 4 light bulbs - he’s just ordered another 2 boxes for other rooms as he thinks they’re the best thing since football. I’m useless with tech and I managed to have these set up and working within 5 mins of opening the box. Only warning would be that while syncing to the app they flash orange to white so when all bulbs were doing this it was a bit much with the flashing.. not too bad but if you have epilepsy it’s worth noting. Also chuffed to see the 2 year warranty on the bulbs. Overall 100% recommend!

After having 1 of these bulbs before for my bedroom, I was eager to replace my standard LED bulb in my living room because it never seemed bright enough when i wanted to look at something in detail. The ease of installation was important to me and I can say with sincerity that as a complete novice I found this easy to do. The Brightness when choosing white light is perfect, no eye strain and the ability to see everything i need to, I also love the fact that If i want a warming yellow/orange light I can, in fact the 1000#'s of colour variations truly exceed what I expected for the price. The Smart Life App is very user friendly, easy to download to phones or tablets and is very much self explanatory. Another important factor for me was the ability to connect it to Amazon Alexa and in the near future Google home to enable the lights to be voice controlled, with my 1st bulb I had to follow the instructions to connect to Alexa very carefully, what I really appreciated with this 2nd bulb is that Alexa picked it up without my needing to do anything more than simply installing the bulb and connecting it to the wifi, my only criticism with the voice activation is that you have to be careful how you name each different bulb (but this is not a product issue) Finally the cost, there are many bulbs like this 1 on the market most at a much higher cost because of the brand name that goes with it and yet effectively it does the same, I can assure any future potential buyers that this product is definitely value for money, although typically I would advise to go for the product you know, please know that this product WILL meet if not exceed your expectations, I rarely give full stars as I feel there is always room for improvement, in this instance though i believe full marks are warranted.

Had to have a copuple of attempts to set up with Alexa , but got them working after second attempt , now in situ and working well with voice commands.

After a nightmare to set up (I had read the reviews but thought I'm more of a technical type of person, so I would be ok! - I wasn't). I did what it said but had to try several times. A tip is to make sure that you have your router details to hand (wireless name and password). Note that even though you have 3 minutes to complete the set up, the connecting part is slow and the timer for completing the connection is quite slow. I had to try the alternative method to connect. The light itself is fantastic! The brightness is excellent and I love that it has a daylight setting. At least 3 people who have come to my house have now thought one, after seeing mine in my hallway. I love that you can add it to your Alexa daily routines and it I've set it to turn on and off at varying times of the day, via the app too. There are various scene modes to flash between colours via the app but Alexa can change the brightness, turn on/off and change to basic colours. You need the app to set other colour variations/colour scenes. It's annoying that when you turn the light off at the switch, it doesnt work, my children keep doing this so this partly defeats the purpose of having voice control but it's still worth having. The best benefits are that you have nice colours, which glow through my front door from the hallway, that I can amend the brightness at night so the kids can see when they get up but it doesn't affect sleep and that the white brightness and colour is much better than many non-smart bulbs. Having the light dimmed and turning off at about 3am must save electricity too, compared to having a regular bulb on all night in the hall.

I have bought 3 packs of these bulbs, to start with they worked ok. Connection to the app was unreliable but workable. The problem is that they begin to malfunction and eventually die far too soon. A year if you are lucky, which for expensive LED bulbs is not acceptable. One by one they die on me.

I brought 4 packs of this. I initially gave them 5 star rating as they had no connectivity issues, easily integrated with Alexa and worked well. But now, I am changing the rating to two as they don’t last. Just more than a year after the purchase, 5/16 bulbs have wifi issues and are not smart anymore. Now I have to use switch to turn them on and off and everytime I turn them on they blink for 1-2 mins which is very irritating. Okay purchase.

Bought these to replace the bulbs in my bedroom light. They are very bright! However you can easily adjust the temperature of the light (make it more yellow and softer) in the app. The app was easy to download and easy to connect the bulbs to the app. Each bulb can be switched On and off independently through the app. You can also change the colour of each individual bulb in the app. An added bonus is that you can use the app to set up a schedule for when the bulb turns on and off - very handy if you are away from home. Obviously you can control these bulbs remotely from your phone or iPad etc. Recomended.

I was getting a new kitchen and wanted to replace my existing GU10 cool white spots with a smart option. These are ideal and brighter than the old ones with a wider beam. And having 6 individually controllable allowed for grouping through Alexa. Such as the Two over the Peninsula called "peninsula" allows just the two spots above the peninsula to be turned on. Or any combination of the six. One of the six failed within 2 weeks, but the customer service portal ( scanned from the QR code in the instructions) was easy to use, the tool my Amazon order number and a new box arrived within 3 days).
