R+Co BLEU Lifestyler Volume & Texture Spray

I have fine hair and this product gives great volume and freshens up my hairstyle at the end of the day for evening. The smell is great. A little pricy but worth it!

This is a softer hair spray type product that does not have firm hold or leave your hair feeling like a helmet head.

This is my 2nd purchase of R&Co Blue Texture spray (full size) and 2nd time the nozzle does not work. The first can sprayed all over except on my hair. It mostly leaked in my hand. Purchase #2 The spray top is frozen closed. Can’t get anything out at all. What is going on here? $100 down the tubes. No returns on this product. Wish I could give this item Zero Stars

Has a typical hair spray aroma. Not great, not bad. But that is subjective. It doesn't gag me out or give me a headache, so it's doable. Definitely a finishing spray. It will glue the hair a bit. I can't run my hands through my hair without feeling some serious drag. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, just know what you are in store for. Use it at the end of your styling. Then you can know that it will keep it in place, and that any lift, volume, or texture is based on the amount used. I do find it a little sticky. I have not noticed any flaking (often present with glue like sprays). I've got long hair that tends get weighed down at the scalp. I use volumizer sprays to help add lift. I spray in, then use a large claw clip to keep that area raised. Then I spray it again. Let it sit for awhile, then once I take the claw clip out my hair has been set and has some noticeable lift. Overall it is pretty good, feels like a professional product. My rating is on its overall effectiveness and how my hair feels. So 3.5 (but will up to 4 stars). Doubt it is a repurchase for me as I am pleased with Color Wow products which are also half the price.

Light hold, non sticky and very nice smell.

This hairspray is incredible. The price is a little steep for a hairspray but I'll continue to pay it until I can find something that works as well a this does.

Wonderful volumizing/texturizing spray that provides a little grip and lift to hair designs. This is an awesome spray for boosting root volume when using a Voloom iron, giving even more texture to crimped sections of styles, or creating texturized space between sparse strands. I've been using many of the R+Co products at my salon recently and they're all impressive, but this one is probably one I reach for the most, especially when doing waves on thinner hair. This product has very good style retention and I've definitely gotten a few texts letting me know their hair still had lots of body and oomph even after a night of partying or sleeping in a ponytail. That memory retention is something I'm seeing is fairly universal across this brand's products and I love that about it. With that in mind, it's disappointing to see a negative review mentioning the lack of curl retention for this spray as it's important to know that the hold of a product is relative to its function. This product isn't really designed to provide hold for curls, the hold/memory is for its action as a volumizer - so it is able to hold that volume for a medium amount of strength and time, but it would not be able to hold a curl like a hairspray. If you have thin hair and want your curls to hold but also have body, spray them with a professional-quality spray with flexible medium to firm hold while warm and use a cooling option - like curling with an air-cooled curling iron, using the cool shot while round brushing, using hot rollers and allowing them to fully cool, pinning heat-set curls to cool, etc - to provide maximum hold, then comb through with fingers and spritz a very small amount of this spray on the interior while fluffing. Voila! Loads of curl and lift. Make sure to also take properly sized sections for curls, and to allow heat to fully penetrate all the way through, too! Overall this really is a great spray for volume and boosting the height of your crown in a blowout or the depth of your sexy beach waves, so play with it until you really get a feel for how it works with your personal style and hair type, and you'll love it in no time! Definitely a product that will be frequently suggested by me to others for getting loads of texture and OOMPH! Recommended.
