This is a fun game and a great set to get you started. I purchased this game for my son and his friends for a birthday party. He is 12 years old and his friends loved playing it. The surprising thing is that my older college age son also played it with his buddies after the party. They spent hours goofing off and playing the game in our back yard. I highly recommend it as it is a fun game and this set has everything that you need to play.

Kids LOVE it! Expensive set of plastic pieces, but better than the original version in durability, fit and ease of assembly. High school boys REALLY get into playing this on the sand beach, in the backyard or even dirt pad while camping. Takes a lot of hand/eye coordination so they beat this old man pretty easily, but I do have fun trying to keeping up with them!

Incredibly fun and addicting game! Get the pro kit it's definitely worth the few extra bucks! Why? Comes with a backpack with nice shoulder straps instead of a drawstring bag, much sturdier hardware including legs with rubber stoppers to prevent sliding on hard surfaces, much much better balls, neat pump, serving line, and ball inflation measurement tool. Also, the original kit has a black rim with yellow legs. The pro kit has a yellow rim with black legs which makes the rim easier to see in your peripheral vision while playing and the legs show less scuffing when black. We get compliments all the time on this kit and everywhere we take it people stop and ask what it is and where to get one. We also downloaded the app to connect with other players in our community. Don't settle for imitation sets. You really do get what you pay for. The kit is not only high quality but realize you also become connected to the Spikeball community that comes along with it if you want! :)

This game is so much fun for all ages. The SpikeBall Pro version is the only version you should buy, way more durable than the regular one. Easy to set up, and easy to pack up!

Good product a lot of fun at the beach

Honestly I know nothing about this set. It was purchased for one of my granddaughters Christmas gift. My son’s family is very athletic and love to find games they can all play together. They were all excited to get it set up and start playing. My sons family thought it was good quality, they were happy to try it and that makes me very happy.

The pro set is not for everyone, I get that. Some people just want to play for fun and don't need the $100 set. After owning the regular set than buying this one, if you know you enjoy playing this game and are looking to get a set, get the pro set. It's worth the extra $40. The sturdier arms and legs give you a nice peace of mind and the balls are better to hit. The net is easier to put on as it seems more circular than the square-ish net on the regular set. This also warps a lot less when you try to tighten the net. The legs fold up a lot easier for more convenient storage. The regular set is supposed to fold up (I think), but that plastic isn't as thick and feels like it'll snap before I get it to fold in. One thing I might add. If you can, buy directly from spikeball's website rather than amazon. The shipping times will be about the same, but you would be supporting spikeball more because they wouldn't have to pay a royalty to amazon for the sale. To sum up, buy the pro set over the regular one as it is well worth the extra money and buy from spikeball directly if you can.
