Not for beginners but great piece
It was fun building it. It was my first 3D puzzle build. I would say if you want to get into building 3D puzzles this would not be a good forst option due to it’s difficulty to build. Go for something smaller and with less complexity before building your way up to more complicated models.

This was my first 3d puzzle, I already make finicky things for fun so I started at this difficulty level. Follow the directions strictly and you won't get lost but be very observant of the decorative patterns. Best things about this: there's tools provided, some you have to assemble; they added extra copies of pieces that are most likely to break. This is not a project for weak hands, there's some parts you really have to grasp and push in weird ways to get it to work with out it breaking. This project is about the journey, not the end result. The magnifying part is only 10X so it's not good for anything except spying on your cat on the other side of the room, but it looks amazing and visitors think it's cool.

This was my first crack at a 3D wooden model and totally enjoyed the experience. The attention to detail was amazing and the final product was very rewarding. Great winter hobby!

Bought several of these types of puzzles for Christmas gifts for the family, and tucked a few away for storm days. They're fun, interactive and keep the mind busy. And when it's finished, there's a displayable piece for any room. There's the odd piece that might need a little sanding to fit, but we have many of these and they're all about the same, pieces usually fit well together, varying degrees of skill or difficulty. We enjoy them.
