I can tell you that the only jerky I can get better than this for cheaper is if I make it at home. The garlic ginger is top tier in texture and chew. If you want it tough get the cowboy instead it's super dry, the garlic ginger is more moist, but not grossly so, like most commerical products you buy. There is very little sugar in it and it's just an all around amazing flavor. That being said 35 bucks is still a lot of cash for what equates to a pound of beef. I understand margins and profits, so officially my recommendation is to get yourself a dehydrator, and a couple lbs of eye of round beef, and learn to slice thin, dry brine it overnight and then make a similar marinade to what you see on the ingredients here. Note that homemade jerky isn't shelf stable so keep in the fridge. If that sounds like a lot of work (maybe 1 to 2 hours of prep, 4 to 8 dry brine and another 3 to 4 dehydrating time), then I cannot recommend this product more than I already do for you. It's made by people that care. In addition, many of their different types of jerky are made texturally different, try their slabs, their tasting kitchen and their drys, I promise they have a jerky for you. Buy the smaller 2.5oz bags and taste several.

I have been a customer since 2018. I started with the old fashioned hot n spicy on my first deployment. I loved it. It's traditional jerky that is tough made with real cuts of meat. I've spent 100s of dollars on their product and only once have I gotten a bag that was moldy. It did leave a bad impression but I understand mistakes happen. For the sweet chili habenero I must say I enjoy the flavor profile. It is sweeter and has some hints of Asian flavors but comes in with a little heat after. I've read that some people didn't like that it was drenched in sugar but it really helps soften the meat as the sugar caramelized. The little pockets of fat also help amplify those flavors.

The sweet Habanero is BY FAR the worst jerky I have ever had. It is candied which is absolutely disgusting. Almost like is was cooked in corn syrup. Then it has way too much heat to mix, and not even a good flovored heat. I like hot stuff and this is just gross. It the kind of heat that only makes your stomach upset while doing noting for your taste buds. I had my item delivered on time but I have to give 1 star because I think no human should ever try this. I cant even get past 1 piece before throwing the bag back in the cabinet and remembering why I hate it so much. I am so very upset with this flavor especially after having the hatch green chili flavor which was by far the best massed produced jerky I have ever had. I wish I could get my money back or a hatch green chili bag to replace this. I do reccomend any jerky fan to please try that flavor. But Sweet Habanero is just absolute trash, im sorry.

There's no ginger in this garlic ginger jerky. It's not listed in the ingredients, and it doesn't taste like ginger. It's good, it's just not ginger jerky.

I like that there is not a presevitive sugar sheen on this jerky, it taste and smells fresh off the pit, although I wish there was more ginger flavor on the garlic ginger flavor, other than that this is perfect jerky❤😃🔥👏

I love beef jerky and this one easily is in my Top 3. The jerky is a little wet at first because I got the 1 lb bag, but it is an amazing tough jerky with phenomenal flavor. You can savor this jerky for some time because it is chewy. The flavor is amazing, Garlic ginger sesame. Phenomenal is all I can say. I love heat but there is virtually no heat to this jerky, it is just filled with flavor. It has a little amount of fat that is so juicy and so robust with flavor. I rate this specific jerky a 9.1 out of 10.
