Do not buy this rancid smelling over-processed pellet
The pellets smell disgusting and rancid. It reeks of bubblegum (which the company claims is because they used banana oil) and my cockatiels would rather starve than touch this thing. Even when I mixed the pellets with their seed mix they distanced themselves from the seeds too because of the rancid smell. Had to throw the whole packet away because it's simply inedible. Go for better brands like Harrisons or even Zupreem although they are pricier- atleast they won't go to complete waste.

I have a rescued sun conure, a maroon belly and a CAG and an umbrella 2. all but the 2 have been on tropican. the sun came to me with almost no feathers and in horrid health. the maroon belly and the CAG were just weaned. I put them on this (two different sizes) and they all have the most beautiful feathers and are super healthy. the sun conures feathers came in and are amazing! no plucking anymore! weaning is only for the first year of life, or if a bird is very stressed or sick....
